My experience there is almost always bad. The service is terrible. Almost all of the employees act like you work for them. The managers are horrible. Everyone is super slow. I've never been to a Family Dollar that wasn't poorly run.

The store could've been much cleaner than it was. The floor plan, product placement & shelving was terribly disorganized and confusing. I felt like a mouse in a maze. Once I finally found what I was looking for, I had to wait in line for 21 minutes to check out. That's not an exaggeration. It seemed the store was sorely understaffed for the amount of customers they get there. That's not the fault of the staff. That's a problem at the upper management level cutting corners for profit at the expense of customer service & working their staff too hard for low pay. It's become an all too common practice & it's not good business. I'm not going back to that store again.

The store is always freaking closed due to hvac . There’s no purpose in even having one in the neighborhood if they can’t served the community. Basically paying the employees to run a store that’s always closed. Also add to this matter there’s no carts or basket for the customers to shop. A complete irritation to many customers like myself .

I like going here because it’s the only store close to my house but their usually never in stock with many things. Then they have workers but the line be long because they never really at the cash register so you have to ring a bell and wait for them to come up. Then sometimes when you do go to the store theirs a sign on the door that says store closed when you look up on maps it shows that it’s supposed to be open (this is in the middle of the day because I just went and they had the sign up) it’s waiting peoples time and gas to get their. Then the cashiers be having their music blasting throughout the store. Or they close early when it’s supposed to close at 9pm and kick people out the store. It’s ridiculous and run poorly. I wish I could go somewhere else but like I said it’s the only store that’s close to me that I can bike or walk 2 without waisting gas money.

This store doesn’t deserve to be ranked one star. You should figure out negative symbols to use when referring to this store. They have no shopping carts and no shopping baskets. I visited this location on a Saturday. When I walked inside, I started looking for a shopping cart. I noticed a few other shoppers shopping without carts. As I approached the checkout counter to find a shopping basket, another customer entered the store. She asked the cashier, “Where are the shopping carts?” The cashier replied loudly, “We don’t have any ma,am!” The shopper asked, “Do you have any baskets?” The cashier replied louder, “No! We do not!” The shopper immediately replies that the cashier doesn’t have to yell or get an attitude because she’s only asking for a cart. The cashier said sternly that they do not have any! So shoppers that were entering the store turned around and exited.The next Saturday I returned to the same store. I was told by the cashier they do not have any shopping carts or baskets! I decided to grab a few items and found a beautiful ceramic elephant in the art section. There wasn’t a price on it, but a bar code. I was going to purchase this item regardless of the price as it was a beautiful piece. I get to the counter to pay for my items and the cashier rudely huffs and puffs and tells me she has to look up the price. Her body language and placing both hands on the counter pausing to explain set off red flags that she wasn’t happy! I asked her is there anything I can do help? She said rudely NO, I have to look it up! She continued to huff and puff then asked me would I mind if she rings up the next customer? There were only me and the other shopper in the line and in the entire store! I replied I won’t purchase the item, just forget it. So to take advantage of the coupon, I asked her if she could ring up enough rolls of the 6-pack paper towels to total $25. This is where MORE drama started! The cashier decided to explain to me why my purchases were not smart! She repeatedly said I was spending $13 to save $5! I said ok but she would not shut up and finish ringing up my items. I finally had to interrupt her and tell her I make a six-figure salary and what she was trying to explain doesn’t matter to me. She continued to explain! SMH. I ignored her, made several trips from the back of the store to my car for my items as there were no carts..Why is this store doing business? The cashier is extremely rude when she speaks with customers. As shoppers hear this, they leave the store. I watched people drop their items they were carrying on shelves, displays, anywhere they could and walk out the store!!!I rank this store -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, negative 5 stars!
