When I first received a call from Tami Barnett I thought it was a scam but realized just how determined she was to help me by leaving voicemails to get in touch with me. She went above and beyond and I am at a lost for words by how well I was treated. I have not met her in person but will always be grateful to her as she really was there for me when I needed help the most. ( This was for a transfer balance after opening up a credit card and having another bank return the check.) She is truly a gem and deserves a promotion and more. I've never been treated so well by a crew member from any bank!

Cara G. Is very unprofessional and treated me as if I had not been a member for 5+ years. She left a bad taste in my mouth and makes this company looks bad if this is what they stand for. I would not recommend. Banking with FAIRWINDS was a huge mistake

I used to love fairwinds but all the changes and long hold times to speak to a representative are insane... it’s low quality not what Fairwind used be like.

Fairwinds has dropped the ball. Since June 20th, when I reported and closed my card do to fraudulent charges, I AM STILL waiting on return of funds to my account. I have called a handful of times and been getting the RUN AROUND. I am now aggravated hence this post. I was just told today, for the FIRST TIME, that my fraud charge was never even recorded in their system and so nothing was being done. That means the last 4-5 people I spoke with on the phone did absolutely NOTHING and didn't tell me my fraud/dispute didn't even exist on their end. I was finally transferred to card member services after an extended hold and that department leaves MUCH to be desired. They automatically ask for a card number, I tell them it's not the card with fraud (because I've been on this loop before since June 20th) so they give attitude and I give them the card with fraud on it..... absolute mess!!!! Now they say funds should be returned in a week. And they better be it's already been nearly a MONTH. I have never had issues until this so I don't know what changed. But seriously the woman told me I'm still within the 60 days and I'm thinking yeah THIS ENTIRE time I was thinking you all were working on it but apparently never even had any record of my original fraud complaint. Then she says file it as a dispute. No, it's not a dispute it's FRAUD. I have never heard of nor shopped at the store in SINGAPORE that charged me... Plus a foreign transaction fee was applied...DO YOU SERIOUSLY THINK during Covid-19 I flew to Singapore. I don't even travel during normal times.

DO NOT USE THIS BANK. They are consistently shady and predatory with their fees and will charge you twice for the same transaction. When approached to rectify situations they are defensive and condescending. These people make a buck off of the UCF students because they dont realize what a bank should provide to its members. From the bottom of my heart, screw fairwinds.

Let me start my review by saying I am lucky to walk into or drive through a bank more than once a quarter. That being said, the teller drive through service is far above other banks. Inside service is always fast on Saturdays. Yet... On-line services are below normal. The on-line banking is lousy. Constant Changes are being made to it, which make it more difficult to use. As much as I hate mega bank B of A, they have the best bill pay features. Unless Fairwinds steps it back up, I may be forced to move my accounts back to a mega bank. Fees and all.

I went to into Fairwinds at 4:01pm and was treated with friendly service even though I walked in late. The bank representative answered all of my questions and handled my three bank requests as well. I usually go to the Fairwinds on the UCF campus but I would not mind coming back here either.

Fairwinds is a horrible credit union. They charged me a $35 NSF fee when a company charged my account ON A SUNDAY. I called that company and it was reversed immediately. Monday was MLK Holiday so bank closed. Fairwinds then goes and charges me a $35 NSF anyway. They said it's justified fee (PROFIT) for them. This isn't first issues with them, sitting in drive through line for 20+ minutes when only 1-2 people in front of me. AVOID THEM or you'll regret it.
