The hotel is not at all like in the pictures. Old and worn. The breakfast was not impressive.

Never paid $30 parking for a hotel before. Lots of people have complained about this and they choose to keep this on purpose so just be aware and choose different locations if it works better for you. They dont even give free water bottles lol. I think that is just petty. Breakfast was not free either. So compare this location to other Double trees, this one has the worst accommodations so far. Room is nice with basic stuff.

Just a heads up- the rooms smell like mold. There’s NO free coffee or breakfast at this location. Again, outside of your crappy dirty room coffee machine … NO FREE COFFEE!! Also, 30$ for the parking a DAY!!
Go stay in one closer to Winter Park or Baldwin Park. Much much nicer!!

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately, my experience was not what I had hoped for. I found the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility to be lacking, which significantly impacted my stay.I only gave it 4 stars in service for the guy who checked us in at the front desk his customer service was top tier . The location where it's located 4 stars . I'm only spending tonight at this hotel in morning I will be checking out if here. We checked in late the first room smelled like wet mildewed carpet . They switched us to another which was again filthy. We had hair in the bathroom shower that tells me it hasn't been cleaned properly .The real question is who is inspecting these rooms after the house keeping ladies have cleaned them . I believe improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the guest experience. Sorry this post is long but is needed and a warning to others . I'm at a total disgust when it comes to anything that has Hilton hotels in it !

This hotel is a solid 3 stars. Rooms were dated and needed painting. Beds look like something from super 8. Additionally, i was caught by surprise having to pay $32/night for parking. Other than this the staff was nice, rooms were clean and those cookies were good.

I stayed there during Hurricane Milton and I will say that for me, the entire management and staff did an extraordinary job making sure we were taken care of, and that includes all the pets. We were very thankful for the hard work, flexibility, and understanding in those tough situations. Now, is the hotel old? Yes. Could it benefit from an upgrade? Certainly. But the hotel is rated 3 stars (not 4, not 5) and it wasn't built in the last 5 years so in a way, it's very comparable to what you'd get from any other hotel in these situations. Thank you everyone for your hard work.

The room was clean, no frills, comfortable bed. Staff was nice and accomodating. The building is nice, has solid amenities for the most part, and is located in a good area on the outskirts of downtown -- easy walk or bikeshare ride to anything downtown.
Docked points for not having a microwave, and no laundry facility onsite. Can't book anything more than 2-3 days if I can't do laundry.

I had a bad experience with rude staff. I had a problem with people waking me up when I work at nights. I went down to talk to someone and the front desk lady was very rude to me telling me it was my fault basically. I had not even mentioned how the sheets and bathroom were dirty when I got there. I will not ever be staying here again.
Rooms: Room was messy. Stains and cracks in the ceiling. The desk lamp didn’t work. The bathroom tub had another persons hair in it. Toilet wasn’t flushed when I came in

This was our 3rd or 4th time staying here. First time in a couple years and we won’t be again. They checked us into a dirty room, soap and towels were used and my wife stepped in a puddle of mystery liquid on the floor had to wash her foot was pretty gross to have happen. We called the front desk they told us to come back so they could swap us. They “upgraded” us to a smaller room with broken ac and doors lol. And didn’t do anything to make that right when we told them. And the parking garage doesn’t work for entering or leaving you have to buzz front desk each time you leave. They’ve gone strongly downhill

Rooms are clean. Of course they have the DT cookies, but one of the front desk attendants was stingy with the water. I forgot to get her name; I walked away.

Rooms need to be updated, and the check-in staff were very friendly & helpful. The restaurant is overpriced for what you get. $16.00 for a hamburger ?, $12.00 more if you want french fries ? with it... come on $28.00 for a burger & fries !

I had high expectations for my first stay at the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Orlando, but it ended up being an absolute disaster. Upon checking into my room (which was booked well in advance through Booking.com), I found that both the television and phone were broken. When I went to the front desk to report it, I was met with a dismissive attitude and was asked, “What are we supposed to do about it?” The only offer was to send maintenance, which wasn’t helpful considering I had less than 12 hours in the room.
As a Hilton Honors Rewards member, I expected better service. Unfortunately, this experience showed that being a member means nothing. To add to the frustration, despite paying for valet parking, my access was denied, and we had to wait an excessively long time due to a lack of attendants and a self-service system that wasn’t working properly. This caused a huge inconvenience, especially when we were on a tight schedule.
After calling Hilton customer service on September 29th, I was assured that my complaint would be escalated, and I would hear back within 24-48 business hours. It’s now October 11th, and despite reaching out again, all I’ve been offered is a $50 check—completely inadequate for the nightmare I experienced.
This stay was far below Hilton’s standards, and the lack of follow-up has been disappointing. I expected much better from such a reputable brand, but this experience has left me questioning their commitment to customer care. Hilton, you’ve really let me down.
