Hello, if you are thinking of moving to these apartments, I recommend it 100%. Honestly, it is a very good area, especially if you have children. They have the Sunshine Elementary school a five-minute walk away. Also, the pool area is very nice, it is always very well maintained and When something breaks in your apartment, they repair it very quickly. Everyone in the office and maintenance is very friendly. I love that place.

I’ve lived here for 4 years now. I can say this property is beautiful. The only thing that maddens me is that they don’t clean the breezeways in the buildings. Once in these 4 years have they been cleaned. I would also be mad if I lived by the pool because it can get very loud at times and at all hours. However, the grounds are well maintained. People are quiet and respectful. I feel safe letting my children outside. We have had a couple of hurricanes here and minimal damage. It’s immediately cleaned up. I rent from a private owner not the main office but they are always super nice, and accommodating. I’ve never stayed at an apt this long. It’s just super convenient to everything. Stores very close near by. Even in walking distance. The schools around are okay, they aren’t the best or the worst. Bus drops off right outside the complex. I can also add the gate is a nightmare. 90% of the time it won’t open for guest or DoorDash orders. On a rare occasion it works for me. I have had my account looked at number changed, same issue. Packages don’t get stolen from your house. I haven’t seen or heard of any break ins here. I can’t comment on maintenance since I do not deal with them, but they are always out and about and it does appear they are in fact working.

Discovery Palms appears to be a declining community. Management is unresponsive to tenants requests. It is dirty; and they aren’t overly concerned with tenant safety or other issues with this property. There are many other nice communities in this area, that are newer, clean, and have modern amenities. Recommend passing on this property.

The basketball courts bring all the ghettos people of Orlando who don’t live there. Resident can’t even play because the court is full of outside residents

My best friend just moved in month ago somebody break in 5 days ago and stole $12.000 worth of jewelry and some cash what a shame .it's supposed to be the safest place ?

While I appreciate the response from the management company, the phone number they just gave is the same number to call for maintenance that no one answers or responds to. So I guess they don't really want to help at all.

I have lived at Discovery Palms for a better part of ten years. I was very happy there until the new managers/management took over in 2020. The community has become dirty, trash piles bringing rodents and insects. They have replaced the experienced maintenance supervisor, with unexperienced and rude staff. They do not notify you when they are entering your apartment. I was getting ready for work one day when two of the maintenance men walked in without notice. It is no longer a safe community the security company does nothing to safe guard the community. The gates are broken and need to be replace almost monthly. When complaints are brought to the office, the assistant manager is rude and talks down to any one that complains. Not to mention when she sends email notifications of community project there is no clear commuication, and read as they were written by an uneducated child. The women that used to run the office were professional and dressed appropriately, now when you walk into the office the staff is wearing pajamas and have poor hygiene. On top of the deterioration of the community they have the audacity to double the rent and HOA fees. The newer apartments and condo in the area are less expensive and have better amenities than this dump.

Hey all, current resident here. Thought I should let anyone thinking of moving here that the AC at the gym has been out for nearly 3 weeks now with no end in sight. I even nicely asked to have a sign put on the door so that I don’t waste my time repeatedly checking inside and have been ignored. Don’t expect any of your complaints to be taken seriously.

Air conditioning at the gym has been out for weeks and management can't even give an estimate for when it will be fixed. They have the audacity to tell their residents "it's still open" in the deep summer in florida where we are hitting high 90s/low 100s regularly stuck in a small room with no air circulation. Management ignored my polite request to have a sign put up on the door until I went in a second time. Absolute insanity. I'll be happy to update this if they decide to take the matter seriously but so far I'm not seeing a whole load of urgency to fix an amenity which was a massive draw for me to move here.

I found a hidden gem smack dab in the middle of it all! Discovery Palms is a small, friendly, and diverse community of young families, professionals and our most valued members of the community, our pets! There is a pet friendly, community vibe here where people are friendly to one another and respect each other's property and privacy. We have both renters and owners here at Discovery Palms which creates a little different sense of community than some other places I've lived. There's a great management team of responsive professionals, and the maintenance team is first rate! We also have some great amenities like a beautiful pool, fitness center, package room, and even on property security! I definitely recommend this property even though I want to keep it all to myself! Welcome Home!

Discovery Palms has been our home for the past 2 years and we couldn't be happier! The complex is beautiful and the staff is amazing! The maintenance employees and leasing agents are all so helpful and make the complex feel so welcoming!

Love living at Discovery Palms!! Lauren and Denise in the office are wonderful, we had some issues with our washer and dryer and both were replaced for us. Ray in maintenance is the best as well. Our apartment is great and the location is so convenient.
