I have loved everything I have bought in this store and I can recommend it 100%, the quality of its fabrics and the quality of making it with special care and what I loved most are the designs... something that I don't find much in stores by department.

Lovely little shop with a friendly worker ready to assist. We bought a bikini for my fiancée. The selection of swimsuits and clothing is not extensive (it is a small shop) but it was more than adequate. The music contributed to the pleasant vibe. I'm glad we came.

Poor service. I called 5 times on the day of the visit to make sure the store was open. Nobody answered. Got there and fortunately it was open. However, The young girl who works there wasn't helpful at all. She was just sitting at her desk and play with her phone. I left without buying anything :(

I love to buy in this store, they always have new pieces, and their fabric is so unique. You can find swimsuits and summer clothing, but also a variety of jewelry, handbags, hats, handmade furniture and more!!! ? I will definitely come back.

DePalma is about to celebrate its 1 year anniversary in Ivanhoe Village, and I honestly can't believe I'm the first to review this adorable shop! If you have attended any local maker pop-up markets in the last few years, you might have met Vanessa & her mother with their beautiful handmade swimwear, clothing, and accessories. YES -- they actually hand-sew it themselves! They now have a brick & mortar shop right on Virginia Drive where you can shop their full collection on the reg. The talent these ladies have truly blows my mind! LADIES -- hot girl summer is right around the corner and DePalma has everything you need to soak up the sun in style. I wish I had some tropical island getaway planned so I could flaunt these Caribbean-inspired designs, but I guess my backyard kiddie pool will just have to do. If you're like me and you prefer a little more coverage than the norm when it comes to swimwear styles, then you will LOVE DePalma's designs. They're all so unique and classy. To me, they scream FASHUN and make you feel so confident while wearing them. You can just tell by the feel of the material that they are made with quality fabric and will hold up over time. I'm not gonna lie -- I'd even wear some of their bathing suit tops as an actual blouse. That's how versatile they are, too! Additional items they sell include cover-ups, matching separates, graphic tees, hats, handbags, sunglasses, and jewelry. I've gotten some very cute purses, sunnies, hair scarves, rings, and my personal fave -- earrings! They have some fun acrylic earring designs that you can wear in the pool/water and won't get damaged. In case you haven't caught on yet, yes, my poolside look is super extra. #sorrynotsorry DePalma has its own designated parking spots in the lot behind the building so parking is always a breeze. The next time you find yourself in Ivanhoe Village, be sure to stop by this locally owned shop and congratulate them on one year in the neighborhood!
