Used to work for them and giving the heads up on how the manger Ivan Martinez at Forsyth is a rude guy and will mark up your pricing if you are a homeowner or if he just don't like you or even park funny...not a very good manager or customer service representative...if he don't know you and your not a contractor he is rude... Capacitors and contactors should not be priced the way they are...and the motors that go for like $100 are getting marked up to like $200+...they are ripping people off and drawing you away from coming back on purpose. This guy shouldn't be working with customers for he does not know customer relations. Please note that I did this post to inform the public that east Orlando black supply store is a scam if your not a contractor not because I was let go. Don't trust them!

I am a regular customer of this store, its prices and products are the best in the region, but today and other times I have received bad treatment from the same employee who speaks Spanish, and I really do not plan to return to this store, in the downtown store the treatment is 100% wonderful.

Paid $60 bucks for a capacitor,, I was desperate but later found I could get the same Capacitor for $20 a Ace or $17.50 Amazon. they must have different rates for contractors. I would not recommend to anyone !! :(

Garbage return policy not posted of not being able to return electrical parts which the staff hand picked based on the pictures you provided. It’s either a defective part or they picked out the wrong part for the unit.they won’t exchange out part or give store credit and apparently the only people who get parts returned are licensed contractors. I thought the people who installed the unit were crooks that applys to the people that sell the parts as well take your business else where

I personally have had it with Blacks supply. The one on the east side.They are rude, have no customer service skills and do not care for their customers. I am on a job (one of those tough jobs). All of us Hvac guys knows what its like to be in the middle of summer on a tough job. I simple called and asked what price he's getting for 410. He snapped back at me "whos it for". I returned with its for me. He got an attitude and told me hes not giving me any information and the only way I would get a price is to bring in my EPA card. I will do you better. Im attaching my contractors license. I believe they have lost touch sitting in the AC all day. We are out here working and I needed a part. They are a parts store. Instead of answering a simple question, he decided to play games. Well go play games with someone else sir. This is why I stopped going to blacks years ago and as of now not one of my 6 techs or install teams will either.You should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Good place to get pro level maintenance HVAC supplies if you are a DIY person. Just know what you need as pro stuff is not for everyone and all equipment.
