The person at the desk was NOT helpful at all. She couldnt explain the contract and what i was signing. The car had less than a quarter tank of gas. The driver side mirror was filthy. Couldnt see out of it. Not a very good first experience for our first time using ur co.

I needed assistance from the agency of this hotel because I had reserved my car AVIS 30min walk from this agency and I wanted to know if it was possible to change. The person (I don't have the name of the lady who received me) was really helpful and did everything she could to help me as it was an agency from another "district". Unfortunately it didn't work out, but I would like to thank her again for the TOP service she gave me (visit on Thursday morning, September 21).In the end it wasn't too bad, because after a short walk I was able to get the car I'd chosen in the UNIVERSAL "Hilton" hotel, with very good service too!

Regular loyal Avis customer. Please avoid using this location. There simply isn’t staff during the inconvenient hours of 8AM-4PM. I was scheduled to return the car by noon today. I drove in the previous day and parked the car in the hotel parking lot as my room wasn’t ready yet so I left my luggage in the car. After a day at the park and trying to make Universal’s 8AM early opening the next morning, I was faced with the decision of waiting until the agent arrived at supposedly 8AM or use the hotel’s Avis drop off box. I chose the latter and spent the rest of the morning calling Avis to no avail as no one came to work this morning and my app showed the car still rented out. Each time I was transferred to Avis horrible customer service who bump you around. I accidentally called another Avis hotel location and they picked up and promised to contact my location and have the issue resolved. Nothing. During one of the calls, the person said their locations aren’t responsible for answering the phones and that I shouldn’t have given the key to the hotel front desk as that’s against their policy. He then proceeded to open an investigation as the car may be lost or stolen and I’d be responsible as the last registered renter. The Avis app had also shown I would be charged the extra day fee since the car wasn’t checked in. Furious, I walk out of the park back to the Avis counter where there’s no one. The front desk mentions that they never saw anyone come in and this is a regular issue because they cover multiple local hotels. I explained the lock box issue and they stated Avis is the only ones with the key and allow guests to use it per their contract with the hotel.They then had their manager call the local Avis manager who eventually shows up and promised that I was all set since the keys were still in their lock box and to enjoy my vacation. I learned my lesson and advise you to save yourself the headache and rent and return directly from MCO or use ride share company.

Edgar A. was an awesome customer service rep. He was very accommodating in helping us to secure the best SUV to fit our family’s needs. I would definitely rent from Avis again in the future because of the great service Edgar provided.

Ok. Increased to 2 stars as they did find me a small car and offer to swap to a larger car later.——————-Very bad. Arrived at the time of my reservation to pick up my car. I was told they didn’t have any cars even though I had reserved a week ago. When I asked how this could happen they told me their website allows people to reserve cars without any checks on whether there are cars available.Seems this is as basic as it gets. I can only suggest you don’t use Avis.
