We stayed at the hard rock universal resort rented a car no lines service was terrible from Avis rental gave us poor directions to walk down sidewalks to sign 1/4 mile with luggage agent wouldn’t bring car to us at hotel. Sign was hard to find I call this poor service car should have been brought to us at entrance. Last time with Avis. Date of occurrence 11/25/2023 at about 11:15 managers need to better train employees at this location

They rented me an unsafe vehicle. The wear bars are visible in this photo. I blew a tire and they tried to charge me an additional $200 for the tow. Mind you I waited roadside for 4 hours. DO NOT RENT HERE! They put my life, my wife’s life, and all other drivers on the road in danger.

Worst experience! Had an appointment at 1 pm. I got there at 12:40 pm. The representative did not show up until 1:08pm. And when he did, he didn’t even bother to apologize. nightmare! There was a phone number at the counter but no one picked up. It took another 40 minutes for him to process my rent(I was the only customer!) The staff wasn’t experenced and didn’t know what to do. When the transacton was done, he even let me go to the parking lot that’s 10 mins away. I had to carry three luggages all the way to get to a car. Don’t thet usually have the car ready near a hotel lobby? He even rented me an old lousy car that doesn’t even support usb port or apple carplay.

Merquis is absolutely amazing. I have been renting from Avis continuously over the pass year and the customer service is superb. Edgar has been such an awesome manager running a fantastic team of employees. Thanks Avis for always providing great customer service.

I always rent from this location and the service has always been top notch. This week Yoyo went above and beyond to assist me with help that I needed. The service I received today is the reason I only rent from this location and only rent from Avis.

Booked a standard car, but was given an economy car without the representative telling me. I thought the car seemed a little cheap, but since the rental lot is a 5min walk from the avis desk, and I was under time constraints I took the car. This was a business trip and this little thing they gave me shook like a washing machine and barely got to speed on the highway. Luckily, after a few hours into my drive, thanks to the great service at a different Avis location in route in Lake City, I was able to swap vehicles up to the standard I booked and paid for.

We had some issues with a car Collected from a different location, we tried to sort it out through the Avis customer services by phone but had no joy as the queues to get through were so long and their line disconnected after 30 minutes, 3 times.Yoyo and the team at Hard Rock Avis were very understanding and helpful and addressed our issues in a very professional way.All resolved and Yoyo has restored our faith in the Avis machine.Thank you

Had a reservation at 8 am when they opened. They didn’t have the car ready or cleaned. Had to wait 45 minutes for them to clean the car. Finally when the car was ready they hand me the keys. I asked them where is the car parked and they respond outside. No kidding, the car is parked outside, I thought you would drive it right through the lobby of the hotel. I go outside and don’t see the car. Walked around for 10 minutes hitting the panic button until I found it. Get in the car and it’s filthy. Food all over the back seat, no gas and they left 3 car seats in the car from the previous renter. I don’t know what they were doing for the 45 minutes I was waiting but it sure wasn’t cleaning the car. I had to go park the car in the hotel lot and carry 3 car seats up 3 flights of stairs. I take them the car seats and all they say is thanks. Just overall terrible!!!!! You are better off renting a car at the airport. The staff and the cars are garbage.

We got here at 8 when it opened. There were two people in from of me. After 45 minutes, the one staff member is still serving the first customer. At this rate, it will be over 2 hours before I can leave with a car.
