Our team had the pleasure of working with Charlton McBride and Chloe Hagle with aVenue Event Group at Ole Red in Orlando FL. We had 5 weeks to plan an event for 100 people and we were planning this event from NH! This event was a meet and greet with our outgoing University President and incoming University President, and I'm thrilled with how pleased everyone was with the event! Charlton and Chloe were so patient with all of my questions and made sure I felt confident and at ease, especially planning from so far away.The food at Ole Red was the best and the staff superb. Charlton and Chloe felt like part of our team and assisted with whatever was needed for our event.The event was a huge success and I'd work with Chloe and Charlton again in a heart beat!~Thank you!Jennifer KidwellDirector of Ceremonies and Events, SNHU

My company chose to have our event at The Mezz and we used The Avenue Event Group and we were not disappointed. The staff went above and beyond for our party and it was practically seamless. I highly recommend choosing them!

DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE! As beautiful as the place may be, do not book unless you want the embarrassment of the police showing up at your event. What this venue fails to mention is that due to a residential building being next door you will receive multiple noise complaints if there is music. The staff will take your food without asking and the security guard will harass you by all means necessary. A wedding was shut down by the police because of their napoleon complex having security guard. I am utterly DISGUSTED with this place. I repeat, DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE!

Working with Chloe was a top notch experience! I am located in Dallas and worked with her to plan an event in Florida in a venue I had never been to. She always made me feel like she was on my team and wanted to accomplish any thing I needed to get done. She always responded quickly and with an answer. She stepped in on the day of the event in several ways and went above and beyond. I honestly couldnt have done it without her support and appreciate everything. A special thanks to Chloe and to the rest of the Warbird Museum team!

There are simply NO WORDS that can express my gratitude and, honestly, amazement at how absolutely awesome it was working with Megan and aVenue Event Group. From start to finish, she was on point. She was incredibly responsive. Her professionalism and knowledge truly made me NOT STRESS as the day of our event approached. I will call her for every event I have to plan --- personally and professionally. Hands down the BEST! Thank you, Megan -- for making our event(s) a smashing success!

Overall, I do not think I would recommend this company for small weddings. Their communication needs significant improvement. Going weeks before returning a text or email is not acceptable to me. The set up we were given was not followed, seats for the wedding were arranged in rows of three, not optimal for couples and families, many had to split up and were not able to sit together. The diagram we shared with the company showed rows of four seats, which they ignored. Their pricing and pressure to sign a contract were daunting, if we were not committed to the location, we never would have stayed with them. It was nice, I must admit, to be able to walk away after without worrying about clean-up.

We had our baby shower at the Barrel Room at Crooked Can Brewery. Everything went flawlessly. The staff that helped us coordinate everything beforehand and during were extremely helpful, communicative, and on it! All the catered food and alcohol was presented really nicely. Would absolutely have another event through them!

A beautiful venue. Very helpful planners. They met all of our needs!! The food was awesome. The extras for the party were awesome. My 16 year old daughter was so happy with her party and that’s saying a lot!!! It was great!!! Thank you Christa and everyone there. We will come back!

My company hosted an event at The Mezz and it was perfection. Gina and Christa were helpful throughout the whole process. They made sure we had everything we needed from the DJ to catering to having the right colors for the lighting. Our team was thrilled with the venue and with how wonderful the evening turned out!

I truly don't understand how this company has so many good reviews. We booked our wedding in the summer of 2021 at The Wellborn for 11/12/22. We were so excited because the venue seemed amazing and so did everything Avenue provided according to their website. They say they help you plan everything from start to finish however this was not our experience. Everything started fine and we didn't really interact with them for the first year aside from signing and paying our contract. I thought it was odd that they didn't ask me any details about my plans or vision. They didn't even send me a preferred vendor list so I searched out my own. Which was fine because I found the most incredible vendor! Once we got a few months out from the wedding that's when it really fell apart. I reached out many times to finalize details and to try to nail down our menu. My messages were often times left with little to no answers and even ignored. I also thought found it strange that I was assigned 3 different "event managers" through the process. We ended up with Sarah who was very nice but not helpful. Their "venue relations manager", Annalise, never spoke to me once although she was included in the conversation many times. Often the poor communication was blamed on the venue itself but the venue ended up stepping in to fix everything!! Information given to me by avenue was completely different then information provided by Wellborn. Including food choices and pricing, bar selection and pricing, signature drink selection, vendor set up times and requirements. Basically all the important things. Three weeks before the wedding we still had no answers and had no idea what our guests were going to eat!! Desperate, I reached out directly to The Wellborn begging for help and thank god I did because their event director, Hannah, saved my event!!! I had many vendors to coordinate and I had hired my officiant to also plan and manage the day of the event. She and Hannah literally saved my wedding! I can't say it enough. I was never needy or difficult. I didn't even ask for help until the last 3 months of planning. I felt very neglected and invisible. This was my second marriage so I was much more laid back about things. I had hoped that by booking through Avenue I could save a lot of stress and just enjoy everything. This was not so. I haven't shared all the things that went awry but it was bad enough that I considered legal action. However time has healed the wounds and instead I have turned to sharing some of my story so others may save themselves the grief and stress. I know of 2 others brides that were having their event very close to mine at the same venue and both had the same problems. Perhaps they provide better service when booking one of the venues they own instead of the venues that they provide third party management. I hate leaving bad reviews but I got turned into a Karen on this one and that makes me very very sad.

We hosted our rehearsal Dinner at The Freight House in Stillwater MN and worked with the aVenue event group. Megan was amazing to work with! She did a great job at communicating and helping us coordinate our event!
