The doctor, manager and employees at 7459 W colonial Dr, Orlando. Are amazing. My visit was very relaxing, fun and I learned a lot about my vision from Dr. Jean-Baptist and Ms. Rebecca. This is a very comfortable and welcoming eye glass location.

I used to go to a different location. I liked the doctor a lot, but the staff gave me a bad experience, and I was very upset.So I decided to go with a different location to check out. West Colonial Drive in Orlando, FL.I initially called to speak to someone about making an appt and to answer some questions. Miss Tyreese answered and was so very kind, helpful, and patient. I immediately felt comfortable. When I went to my appt thereafter, I got a chance to meet her and she was so welcoming, communicative, helpful and a joy to be around during my pre-exam.Dr. Jean-Baptiste, is so very nice. She also listened to me. She's flexible, knowledgeable and I truly enjoyed the experience in getting to meet her and I hope she will be my doctor again for future visits.Miss Rebecca, also a delight and very sweet is the lady that helped me after my exam and we discussed contacts to purchase and such. I enjoyed having small talk with her and she is full of smiles and also very warm and welcoming.The day following, there was a misunderstanding with my prescription and I noticed as I was driving to work. The previous location upped my scrip, probably had it in the file, but never documented it in the system we came to know as I had to go back a second time the day after. Ugh.Anyway, when I realized the scrip didn't seem right, I immediately called and I had the pleasure to speak with Miss Emily. She was very kind, understanding, patient, helpful as she knew I was concerned. (I am a Delivery driver for work, I drive a box truck. I also operate heavy machinery, so my sight is very important, especially with the DOT.) She proceeded to tell me to just come in and we could do a quick recheck. Miss Rebecca and Emily both greeted me upon arrival and we went directly into finding out the miscommunication or what the problem was. I had a feeling I was prescribed a -4.00 for both eyes prior. Now, apparently my sight is actually around -3.75, but both eyes are a tad different so we just put one scrip for both eyes. I see better and further with -4.0 and do not have any kind of headaches whatsoever. So I am comfortable there. Emily, Rebecca and Doc started searching together to figure out how to resolve this, and find a solution and they were very understanding and the problem was resolved. And I was a VERY happy patient! Rebecca and Emily were smiling and thankful as I left. It's a further location, but I will say it was worth it having to go twice and be in the company of these fine ladies. Thank you for everything! I had a 5 star experience from the very first call I made to the very last second leaving the second go round! I will definitely be back and can now say this is the eye place I choose and will definitely be recommending it to people.

Tyreese made my visit ALL AROUND BETTER!. Her professional attitude and her general concern about my entire visit made it very pleasant. I was frustrated with other staff regarding my payment information and lack of information that I was given over the phone prior to coming in. But Tyreese took her time to care and provide me with explanation about my insurance and fully explain my options. The Dr. Jean Baptist was very pleasant as well.Kristy took her time to help Mariah with even fixing her old glasses while we wait for her new pair. Rebecca was very patient and helpful with our closing process. I could not have been more grateful for these ladies.Alex, the assistant manager very rude and his anger was displayed towards daughter and I. I will be making a formal complaint about his lack of professionalism and short patience while I questioned about my insurance. His exact comment to me was" well it is what it is". He needs to be fired.If it was not for the rest of the staff I would have left. I will be calling the 800 number because I felt he discriminated against me and my 11 year old.

After my eye exam I was wondering why this location had such bad reviews when everyone was super nice and friendly up until it was time to pick out my glasses the sales rep that I got was Rebecca and she was extremely rude and impatient and it just sounds like she wants to upsell you and get you out of there and gets upset if you ask too many questions. I don’t know anything about glasses and if you’re trying to upsell me at least answer my questions. I came back the same day because I was unsure with my decision and Rita helped me she is such a sweetheart and I know to look for her the next time I go back.

Customer no service. The only qualification you need to work here is that you like to talk and talk and talk. No one is ready to listen to the customer. They just want to tell you about how they haven’t been here in a week or how <insert mind numbing story here>… then you call the number for corporate to report your store experience and those people have the same qualifications! They just love to hear themselves speak!Takes longer to do anything here than buying a car, and we all know how long that takes!

My first and probably last time at this location. Unfortunately I arrived 3 minutes late to my appointment. 3 MINUTES !!!!!! and the lady at the front desk with a dirty attitude toll me that the have canceled my appointment. If I was 30min or 10min late I would understand.. but 3 minutes? That’s ridiculous. What a waste of time!

My lenses had popped out and Miss Rita was so helpful and knowledgeable in helping me with them, she adjusted both of my glasses to fit my face and they’re so much more comfortable. Thank you Ms. Rita and staff

went with my daughter and her boyfriend so he could get new glasses, we were helped by Miss Rita, when we came back to pick them up she helped us again, she is amazing, very caring, we will only go back if she is working!

The staff is always willing to help whenever i visit. Vanessa is always so friendly when I walk thru the door. Kristy and Jeremy make me feel like I'm family. They remember me and my son. If and when need adjustment they are there to help. I've never felt more comfortable with the care I receive and know my son and I are in great hands.

By far the worst experience ever. I was recently referred to this place by a person that worked for another eyewear company. When i explain that to the staffing at this location instead of embracing me as a customer and helping me, one Caucasian gentleman that works there with an African woman was just gossiping about the person who referred me to them. I have never witnessed such bad customer service like this in my life. The nice guy who referred me to this location did not deserve any of the things they was saying about him. I am extremely disappointed. I have never been to an America’s best untill i was referred but going there made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disappointed on the customer service I have received. Like why bash another person for bringing you all in business and flow.

Do not go here they will rip you off and lie to you! told me that I needed long distance and short distance so now I have to wear to different pairs to see and also asked for blue light filter and never got it they refused to fix the problem and refused to pay me back for all the extra money I spent they will scam you!! again do not go there! Go to a different one or a different company!

The optometrist Jean Baptist is amazing, but the staff there are rude and con artists, they told me that i needed two different types of glasses one to see up close and one to see further away and this is furthest from the truth they had explained to me that i really needed this as my eye sight was in bad shape and i would have to pay a lil more because its different scripts and this is my first time idk, then i work with computers so i wanted a blue filter so they charged me for that as well never got the blue filters and always have to switch between my glasses as well they probably pocketed the extra money, when i called and complained several times they kept on assuring me it would be taken care of and it never was never go to this ghetto a** store save your money and go to a different one !

I've been wearing glasses for 15+ years, and I will say this was the WORST glasses experience EVER. When I first came here, I felt confident and great! The staff was nice and smiling, and overall, I felt confident I found a new optometrist.However, when my exam was finished, I noticed that my prescription was not correct. It was off by an -.5 in my left eye. I brought this to their attention, and they assured me it was "environmental factors." I thought this was strange because it was such a significant difference, but I am not a professional, so I went with what they said.Fast forward a 3 weeks, my glasses were finally in, and I went to go pick them up. When I tried them on, I immediately noticed that they were not correct. They assured me once again that it was due to my "new prescription," and I needed to have my eyes adjust. I told them I've been wearing glasses for 15+ years, and I felt better bringing in my old pair and comparing them. They told me to just throw those out because this was my new prescription and I needed time to adjust, but assured me if there were any issues, to come back in 2 weeks after I've tried and worn them for 4+ hours a day. (Which I knew I would)I noticed driving was difficult for me with these new lenses. I would get dizzy, and I was afraid to really drive long distances, which was required by my job, so I went back to my old pair and contacts.A week later, I brought them back and had them compared to my old glasses. The person comparing my prescription was shocked to find out that they had completely removed ALL CORRECTION POWER FROM MY LEFT EYE.Thanks to her, we were able to order *drum roll* my old prescription!! Which I had to wait another 2 weeks to receive.When I went to go pick up my new (OLD) prescription, I was told I could not pick them up because the LDO left early because she felt sick. They told me to come back another day. Informed them it is my day off, and I had no way to get here during the week and asked how much time it would take so I could make arrangements. They were rude and just told me to come back when it was convenient, as if not being able to see wasn't inconvenient enough. When I asked them to take the pair they gave me so I could simply pick them up and go to work Monday morning, they would not take them and told me they didn't want the liability.All in all, it's been close to 2 months. I'm still using my old prescription, and I'm still using my old contacts. If this is "Americas Best," then we have a lot of improvements to make. Or perhaps it is America's Best in the form of "Profits over People"Absolute horrible experience. Save yourself the headache and the stress.P.S, your copy and paste customer service "we care" BS is NOT going to work with me. People need to know not to come to this place, and if the other locations are this bad, avoid America's Best ALL TOGETHER.UPDATE 3/13/2023Darren the LPO FINALLY got me my lenses! He was amazing! At first he asked what the sotuation was, the nosey manager that was rude to me prior expained the situation, and said there was no LPO. And told him, "WELL YOU KNOW THAT". my response was, "put it on your website for those of us who are not professionals. He asked to inspect my lenses and that nosey manager said they had already been inspected. I asked him to please inspect them. She retaliated by telling me I don't understand, once the paper is folded a certain way they are inspected. I cut her off and told Darren to PLEASE inspect them. Which he did.He was excellent, even let me keep the old glasses of evidence of a TERRIBLE job.Darren, you deserve a better work place.I have filed a complaint with the board of optometry. Let's see where that goes.UPDATE!!! 5/3/2023THIS STORE HAS STILL DONE NOTHING TO TRY TO CONTACT ME. Do not go here. They pretend online like they are trying to remedy your situation so they can save face, but they will never actually contact you.Do yourself a favor and drive to

No where in there policy does it state you have to have an ID when taking your kids to get seen. So my appointment for my daughter was canceled. At no point head of your appointment are you given this information. Luckily i walked to a target and immediately taken, with no ID required.
