I have been trying to get the abaco office to repair my refrigerator since it is freezing at the bottom and my fruits and vegetables freeze and get damaged. I have lost money on many foods and this apartment is really nothing. economical, they should repair the appliances at once since I consider myself to be a property owner up to date with the rent, I should have the benefits at once although they are not benefits because that is why one pays I would appreciate it if you would repair my refrigerator immediately thank you very much

Where to start! They took down my anonymous review forcing me to make another one with my name, disclosing where I live to the public.. thanks for that.. 1. We moved in during hot summer months and the air conditioner was broken. We spent like 4 days in that heat. 2. The dryer was improperly connected and shooting heat back into the unit as well. We fixed that ourselves because they took so long to come around. 3.The sink drains into the dishwasher and spills out all over the kitchen floor. We shop vac it daily. 4.They skipped checking the wax seals when flipping the unit and just caulked the base of the toilet.. Our bathroom obviously had water damage from before and instead of addressing it they let the smell seep into the sub floors. We've tried everything and the bathroom still smells like a porto potty. 5.The amount of cockroaches we find daily in all the rooms is disgusting. I literally have OCD and clean non stop. It's not us. They do not have uniformed professionals spraying. We've bombed the place 12 times in 6 months. 5.The fridge is leaking water that is supposed to go into the ice tray. 6.They paint over weather strips instead of replacing them. 7.All the closet doors are broken. 8.They paint over hair and dust which is just gross. 9. The air vents are black and most likely full of mold. We basically pay over 2,000 a month for granite tops cuz there's NOTHING luxurious about living here. We've spoken with the maintenance staff and the main boss man flat out argued with us about the toilet and when he was wrong he sent someone else to apologize for him. Raul is great but everyone else we've come across acts annoyed that they have to work. Who sends their employees to apologize for them? We're beyond disappointed with the entire experience. And watch how they probably keep our deposit when we're literally going to hand the unit back better than we found it because we've taken it upon ourselves to resolve most issues. We pay a lot to NOT have to do that. If we wanted that stress we would've bought a house. It's basically the ghetto apartments of the block. We thought location was everything. The unit they show you is in such good shape. They sell you the club house.. pool.. the "luxury" lol nah.. All lies. If you have the $ to live here just go down the street to Zen or another ACTUAL luxury apartment complex.. like we'll be doing.

My family and I moved here in October 2022, always with the help and good service of Chris and the girl who was there before. For reasons of my family's health, we requested a transfer and it was the most tedious process in the world, when it was finally possible everything was going well. No complaints, my mother and my children's health was restored and we finally felt calm. In April of this year 2024. Some new neighbors moved in on the third floor and it has been hell ever since. From the day they moved in we started complaining for different reasons. Every day a new reason was added and obviously we notified the office. This complex is happy to say that it is Smoke-free, but that is not true, it is one of the many problems we have with the neighbors above us. We cannot sleep, there is only rest when they are not there, the contract stipulates that countless things that they do in the same way are not allowed. 7 children who act like horses, the married couple lives arguing and all the bad words one can imagine are heard almost daily. I went so far as to give them the idea of making a transfer to them who had just arrived and after several complaints we received an email from the office basically saying that we could move without any additional cost since we were lying and that we must present proof, proof that the office has because they came here and could see the smell that filters through the air duct when they start smoking. We have not moved because of the children's school, so that they can finish their school year without drastic changes, but it is the biggest and most difficult sacrifice in the world. The manager does not assume any responsibility for the situation, she only promises that she will resolve it, but she does nothing. The corporation also does not make the slightest effort to look after the people who live here. The truth is very sad since the place is quiet, before that we had not had any problems, there have never been any complaints from us even though we live on the second floor with 2 children because they are taught that they must respect. Those who want to help can't because they don't have the power to do so, and those who can actually take action simply don't want to take responsibility for doing things right.
ABACO KEY is a place to learn the meaning of the word DISCRIMINATION. In all places in the world you have the duty to pay rent or buy property. Comply with the laws. You also have the right to be respected no matter your nationality, language or creed. Here duty is LAW and that's all that matters.

Please read this before continuing to live here..
Let’s start with how this complex scammed us.. Me and my roommates were excited to move in. 06/2024 .. We were told there was a promotion and that first months rent is due September. We thought it was an amazing deal until August we got a evacuation letter saying if we don’t pay rent we will be evicted.. so we call them and they say they never offered that promotion even tho the worker admitted it was his mistake.. so now we have to pay ..
Also, at move in Chris said they would caulk the bathrooms because they weren’t .. a month later still nothing.. after a month they came to do the tubs and did the worse job i’ve ever seen.. we sent it to them and still no answer..
this place is beyond disgusting and it takes them months to answer.. Please don’t move here

I was happy when I moved in here. Everything was okay during my stay. But when I moved out, they charge me which was not fixed by employee and even they charge me for Ozon treatment which was not mentioned in the contract.

Do not expect anything luxury about these apartments.
After placing maintenance orders to fix an air conditioning unit, the problem has still not been fixed. It’s been about two weeks now of sleeping in 80-90 degree temperatures. They provided a portable ac unit, but it does not flow into any other room except the living room. They provided another apartment to use in the meantime meaning you either move your whole setup to a vacant room with no privacy or camp out with an air mattress in a vacant room with no privacy.
After following up on multiple accounts, more than one person has come into our apartment (even when no one is home) to “fix” the ac unit, but it’s still not fixed in this unbearably hot and humid Florida heat.

Did not end up renting due to finding something more suitable. However, Meggie was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The model unit was spotless, large, and eloquently furnished. Thank you for your time Meggie!
