Mark and Gabby are the reason customer service will never die and the online experience can never equal, the human experience. Obviously I was there to shop but I felt like I had known these two my whole life. Mark was cooler than the other side of the pillow. And looking past Gabby's shortcomings as a Microsoft user, she is a beautiful biker future mechanical engineer. I'll be back for the conversation and the people for sure and I guess while I'm there I'll buy some stuff too. True story I only realized this brand was a real brand from playing Tom Clancy's The Division 2 on PlayStation 4.

I've always known of 5.11 as an immensely high-quality product. So when I heard they had an actual brick and mortar store I was overjoyed. The store itself is stocked with everything you could ever want from 511. I found what I was looking for and the staff was very helpful and accommodating and knowledgeable.

5.11 is constantly discounting merchandise due to low sale return, purchase while you can because the company might not be around for for awhile.I would STRONGLY recommend the Kissimmee location over the Waterford lakes one as of now. They have most of the items in stock, so that is not an issue. I am always greeted and made good conversation with the older man who works there, as well as a younger man who is a student at UCF. I was always treated, and am still treated very politely by them. However, the few times I have visited this location recently, there is a new employee who speaks in a very disrespectful and condescending tone, as well as what I feel like pushes sales on to me, when the other employees have made things clear that they don’t work on commission and are honest with the products I question them about so it is very confusing. This new employee also has never recognized me as a repeat customer the way the others do. I might be picky with that sort of thing, but the disrespectful tone is not something I am okay with, as well as his lack of self grooming capabilities. I have found that the Kissimmee location is much more put together, and there is not one bad smelly apple that ruin it for the rest of them. - TJUPDATE - I have friends at the cooperate level of the company, I was informed this location is projected to close due to bad sales.

Mark was such an awesome dude! Always very attentive the boys are in there, very genuine and down to earth. Appreciate you guys! Boots are also great, huge selection of stuff, would absolutely recommend.

The store itself looks great and the staff was above and beyond helpful and super friendly. Chris there definitely excelled in his customer service and product knowledge.!!!...as for the products themselves, the quality for the price, in this niche market has been steadily declining while their prices have steadily increased, even though some products are rarely available in-store or online.!?!...their main issue seems to be, besides an antiquated retail sales model and the lack of the proper use of demographics, is that their primary focus has been for the consumer market instead of their original focus with law enforcement, military and various other professional services.!!!... Overall, 5.11 used to be a great brand, until around 5/6 years ago, now it fills in the gaps of the egos of a specialty selective and small group of it's new customer base.!!!Hopefully the products perform as needed as their original line still does, but a product designed without true thought into it's use won't be looked at seriously.!!! Granted the products are way overbuilt which in turn increased it's weight, so it's moot.Choose Wisely for your needs....and good luck 5.11.
