Just a local hoa homeowner needing sod to resolve a violation.I stopped by last weekend, after about 15 min, I learned a lot. Stacy was extremely knowledgeable and Cory helped me out as well. Their st augustine by the piece is so much thicker and denser of a piece than at lowes or hd. Great company, will be back.

This is the 2nd time ive ordered from them. Got 5 pallets and half of one ofThem just felt apart. Tons ofGrub worms, also a fair amount of weeds in the grass as well. Laid it down the day it was drop and the next morning. I only hope I got the correct selection of grass from them.

After reading other reviews I was a bit hesitant, but I'm glad I went in and decided to form my own opinion. To be frank, my experience was fantastic. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner in the lobby and got to have a great conversation with him. I honestly wonder if anyone out there knows more about sod than he does. He said he's been in the sod game for more than 40 years at every level, including owning his own farm and growing the grass to now having a sales & delivery service that sells directly to the public & commercial operators. Once I had the chance to meet him and his team, I understand where some people could form the wrong impression of the staff. In my experience, I found them to be kind, funny, and willing to help me at every turn. But with that they are also direct, to the point, and speak the truth without sugar-coating it. The receptionist that other reviewers have commented poorly about was absolutely delightful to me. We talked about her kids, her cats, current events, etc. She was well educated about sod and explained to me the pros and cons of different types for my application. I think there's a difference between being rude and being direct, and like the owner she's clearly a direct person. I could sense that if you are straight with her, she's straight with you, but I doubt she tolerates much nonsense. To be honest, I respect that quality in people. I personally had a wonderful experience at One Stop Sod and now have a new, beautiful healthy lawn as a result. It doesn't hurt that they had the cheapest prices either. I think there are a lot of sensitive people in this world nowadays that think everybody else should coddle them at every turn. This place provided me with great sod, great service, and the best price in town, but I was polite, respectful, and I didn't act like I knew everything about their business. If you are patient, listen to them, and follow their instructions, I have no doubt you'll have the same experience and opinion of them that I do.

Watch and learn from my review and any negative review on here — they will respond back denying and blaming every time, and make a story up ?DO NOT ORDER SOD HERE. They claim to have the freshest cuts of sod. I had two pallets delivered to my house and installed hours later. The bottom half of the pallets was dead brown sod. I called to get a replacement and they blamed me and the heat wave. The owner came over to argue me out of trying to get a replacement and said the sod would come back in 7-10 days and that the roots were good in it, that he’s been doing this for over 40 years, etc.Proof is in the pictures. Here are pics from the day it was installed and then almost a month later of watering it perfectly.If and when you are wronged, they will not make it right. Sad. I was looking forward to nice new grass and now I have to pay again for new sod.

I called since I found a job posting on Wellfound. The lady on the phone who did not say her name was very very rude. She said they are not hiring. So I told her someone is using their company details and posting fake jobs online and she should let the owner know. The lady proceeded to ask what company I was looking for and when I said the correct company name she then said they get calls all the time and went on to make use a racist impression of an accent to imitate the calls she gets. Super rude and zero interest in even hearing what I was saying. Cant imagine how they treat their customers.

I have been coming here for 15-20 years. Always quick to get reserved sod paid for and loaded up.Only downside is Bahia in early Spring with dry Florida Winters, pallet is mostly broken pieces.

Stacy was awesome and helpful from my first phone contact to pre-paying my delivery in person. She has a great sense of humor, listens to your questions and concerns, and offers her expertise. More people should be as happy and jovial as she was to me. She explained everything involved in having sod delivered to my home and made the process effortless and extremely pleasant. The lady in the office is Very unprofessional and rude. As a contractor we had to supplement a pallet from here. The pallet cost what we charge to install it. Became very annoyed and arrogant the more she talked. Horrible price and office staff. She cussed another customer who rejected a pallet of sod delivered to me. Like, who does that? Then wants to be respected
