I randomly called vortex as a totally inexperienced gamer and asked if my son and I could possibly sit in on the sidelines and get a feel for a DND game that was already in progress. Not only did Vortex accommodate both me and my son but the campaign that we had the honor of watching brought us into the game, helped us customize characters and continue every week to help us grow in gaming knowledge. I'm even starting to expand into the Magic the Gathering card game! Most importantly I've made a group of close friends that I've laughed with and can't wait to spend time with every week and it has been a special bonding experience for my son and I. Amazing local gamestore, went to the foundations prerelease event. Not only was the community very nice, but the owners raffled off a series of collectors items. JUST FOR PLAYING! :D I have never had trouble finding a welcoming group when I want to play commander. As a guy on a budget the fact that they do not charge a table fee is a HUGE plus.

I love this place. I have been coming here for years and seen it evolve from a typical small card shop to a WPN store which hosts packed events. I even run a weekly D&D game here and this makes it a game store and not just a card shop. They also have Warhammer, paints, and sports cards. Amazing shop, definitely worth a visit.

The staff are very kind and will answer any questions you have about the game that you are playing , and give you suggestions on what cards you should and shouldn’t play. They can also help you build your deck for the game.☺️

This card shop is a great place for everyone from people who are new to card/tabletop games to people with decades of experience. The atmosphere is always amazing and this is because of the staff who are all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. This is my LGS, I'm here multiple times a month to play and hung out for years now and I honestly couldn't recommend it enough.

Been going here for a year now and as someone who was pretty new to the card game community, I can’t express how amazing this place is. Everyone who works there is kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable! The owner is the kind of person who will give you the shirt off his back if you needed and he truly cares about his customers. 15/10 DEFINITELY recommend

Absolutely amazing place to play magic with friends, meet like-minded people, and participate in fun events! I’ve gone here for the past 3 years to pay magic with friends and compete in some pre-releases and fnm, and I’ve enjoyed every second of my time there (even when I’m getting slammed by stax, slivers, or eldrazi lol). The staff is amazing, friendly, and always ready to help teach new players when the shop is slower, Gabe and Danilo especially! I would absolutely recommend going here to play any tcg you prefer, even 40k!

Came in randomly because daughter is going through a Pokémon craze. She saw pikachu on window and told me we need to go to Pokémon store.
Place was packed with some sort of event. Even then we were welcomed in and staff was super friendly and nice.
