“We took our truck to Epic Powertrain in early December 2023. Our truck has close to 200K miles on it and had a loud whining noise. They told us they would check it out, found no problem with the transmission and said it did not need rebuilding (It’s good to find honest people). Based on the high mileage, we decided to have the transmission rebuilt anyway. They rebuilt the transmission (heavy duty), they fixed the whining alternator and also fixed rear main seal for the engine. They cleaned up everything underneath the truck from the oil leak. After a 1,000 mile break-in period, everything is working perfectly - no leaks. We HIGHLY recommend Epic Powertrain. Very friendly and met all our needs. Thank you Epic Powertrain.”

“Took a 24 year old suv in for some minor maintenance and an oil change. Had been having an issue with bump steer and the battery leaking and dying after a few days of sitting from a parasitic draw. I have been working on cars for over 25 years but do not have the expertise or equipment to diagnose things like they can. They found multiple suspension bushings were allowing much more play in the suspension than normal which was causing the sloppy steering and bump steer. The parasitic draw (I tried EVERY fuse to find it) was actually the alternator causing a strange micro current draw but also over charging at 15v when the vehicle was at idle. Would have never been able to find that without their specialized equipment.Great service and communication, expert knowledge and capabilities, would recommend to anyone who needs a shop that really knows what they are doing.”
