Management needs to go to a customer service class. They were supposed to repair my windshield and did a horrible job!

Super satisfied and Great service from Dwight - I had a 9 am appt and he took care of me in less than 15 minutes, gave me some info about fixing the glass and future replacement if needed, and took care of my insurance work order. Hopefully won't need to return but if I do, I'd rather it be here than anywhere else. Thanks again, Dwight!

USAA insurance recommended Safelite, so I initially went with them... cuz they've gotta be the best with all those tv commercials, right?! WRONG!!! First, Safelite told me they couldn't come to me; my windshield could only be recalibrated at their facility. Second, they told me they couldn't repair my windshield until I went to a Mazda car dealer first to clear the error codes for the front camera, which would cost me $200 since code clearing is not covered by my insurance. *Side note: I called Tom Bush Mazda and the service attendant stated clearing codes is unnecessary to replace and recalibrate my windshield. The Mazda attendant was nice enough to provide her name and direct number to use as a reference Safelite could contact, but Safelite refused to talk to the Mazda attendant and stated they're in the business of repairing windshields and Mazda is not.
So I called my insurance and took my business to Exotic Auto Worx. Manny and Elijah are consummate professionals; I can't say enough good things about those guys! They were able to come to my house and replace (with OEM) and recalibrate my windshield all in less than an hour. Manny and Elijah even pointed out damage previously done to my vehicle using metal tools, as well as, shotty glue work from a previous windshield replacement performed by none other than Safelite.
I can't recommend these guys enough... Exotic Auto Worx for the win!

Company customer service is sub standard. You can’t reach the actual shop for questions.
Phone system is awful. Doesn’t understand English, doesn’t give more than a couple of options and hangs up on you if try too many times.
When you reach a person they are barely polite. Only reason I am using them is because insurance is sending me there. Probably why they don’t care.

After years of doing business with this company and replacing countless windshields, I can say I will never use this company again.
Sadly dropped my car off at 8 am for the all day drop off thinking it would be done in a reasonable time, almost 8 hours later and nothing. The intention of the all day drop off is literally all day drop off. You will NEVER receive your car earlier. Always choose an appointment. Saddest thing is that they had plenty of appointments to choose from.
Very misleading, will have to look for a different company to do business with going forward.

I had my 2018 BMW windshield repaired in December and a few days ago one of the chips got a crack straight through it. I called to set up a warranty repair and they ordered the windshield. The VIN and all other info was in the system from the previous repair. The tech showed up today and the wrong glass was ordered. I specifically told the agent when I set up the appt that I was going on a 3-1/2 road trip today and this crack is straight through my line of sight in the vehicle and it had to be fixed as it was a safety concern. Now I have to make the trip both ways with a 3 foot long crack right in my vision because the wrong glass was ordered. To top it off, he said it was not set up as a warranty repair so he had to have them do that also. So a failed repair, wrong glass, and not entered correctly in the first place. What kind of business is Safelite? I thought it was a top notch glass repair company but I am finding out it is not.

These folks saved me when I was trying to juggle 10 things in one day. They were able to work me in and repair my windshield. So grateful for their kindness.

BEWARE OF SAFELITE THEY ARE THE MACDONALDS OF AUTO GLASS REPAIR. I am a USSA customer and extremely disappointed that my insurance company uses Safelite. I had an appointment scheduled July 27 for a windshield repair for my Subaru Forester Dropped vehicle off as scheduled. Two hours later the manager contacts me stating they will not be able to proceed with the repair of the windshield because the front facing sensors in windshield had error codes and they would need to be resolved before the could repair the vehicle. The on duty manager-Brian did not apologize or seem to care for the inconvenience nor offer to reschedule- if I wanted customer no service like that I would have gone to MacDonalds for breakfast. I took my Subaru to the dealer. There were no error codes and had my windshield replaced at dealership. Dealer technician alerted me to the problems people were having with Safelite Techs damaging eyesight sensors in windshield and that they have had to replace the sensors after a repair at Safelite. He suspected that particularly facility has damaged lots of sensors and rejected the working on vehicle out of fear of damaging the sensors on my vehicle Upon investigating on my own I found numerous incidents where people have had to pay more for the repair of the sensors than what would have been paid out of pocket by taking their car to professionals that take pride in their workmanship and skills

Auto Insurance companies should not be using this company to fix windshields. Terrible customer service, lies to the customer about appointment arrival, cancels appointments through text without any explanation and then does not answer their phone when one calls them to find out why. We are extremely dissatisfied and disappointed Safelite AutoGlass.

I wish I could give ZERO stars!! Don’t ever let SafeLite near your vehicle. You will be forever regretful. We were REALLY hoping the 4th repair would be the one that actually fixed the truck, but worst experience so far!! And even after the plastic header piece flew off our FJ Cruiser, TWICE, they don’t care. The current piece is so loose that it needs to be taped down to protect others on the road since these now have a tendency to fly off while we are driving down the freeway. And the rude, incompetent manager said it was installed CORRECTLY. Can you believe we have to drive around with duct tape on our expensive Toyota FJ, all because our insurance had us use Safelite for a windshield repair. NEVER AGAIN!!

Charles went above and beyond for us. Replaced our glass, recalibrated driver systems. He was very informative during the process, explaining the importance of the pinch weld and the bonding agents used and the importance of the setting process. He cared for our vehicle like it was his own. He used his seat covers, hood cover, all required ppe, his efficacy with setting the glass is unmatched. He was caring, explained what to look out for after the installation of the new glass. He even gave us his personal number if we had any questions for him. 100/10 customer service from Charles Spitzer. Highly recommend Orange Park Safelite for your glass needs. Charles Spitzer is management material.
