I had a very positive experience here last week. The team was very helpful when it came to an issue with a prescription, and worked to resolve it as quickly as possible. This was a great customer service moment in what has the potential to be a very bad situation.

Over priced and getting worse... Publix would better serve the public by reducing prices than building new stores 1/2 mile apart.. SR-16 and I.G. Parkway.. A Publix on one side of the road and a new Fresh Market on the other side...

I go out of my way to this Publix. I love the people of this location! Managers are always helping in every department and the cashiers are friendly and talkative to my son. Produce is also the freshest I've found in any Publix near me.

We've been battling this pharmacy since Friday to refill our son's prescriptions. Had physical paper proof that we had permission from the doctor to refill the one needed, they still refused. Tried to say that it was mix up at the doctor's office because the paper said one medication and they had a different but we needed both prescriptions filled. Had to call the doctor's office after hours to have them call the pharmacy after almost an hour of waiting and arguing with them. Definitely switching pharmacist asap.

Stopped by for some ice but decided to pick up some cookies and noticed the Fresca was on sale, so picked up more than we needed. Checkout was also quick and the cashier was very friendly. Oh, they also have a ton of the racecar carts for the little one. No complaints.

Service was good and items easy to find especially in a rush. On this day I was shopping for someone else , and it was my first time there. Will visit again. Thanks Staff

Dropped off an emergency prescription. My dog had, for the first time, suffered 2 seizures so my vet gave me a prescription to stop the seizures. Time was critical as these seizures were violent. I explained to the tech the situation. I am understanding of waiting my turn based off who dropped off prescriptions first, but I pleaded for her to hurry. Instead this rude woman repeated, it'll be about an hour, we have other prescriptions to fill, and we have to give COVID shots every 10-15 minutes (there was no one there trying to get the shot). It's one thing to be busy and still try. But to have zero compassion and be rude about it, and intentionally take over an hour...... While she showed her true colors, my dog had 2 more seizures. Needless to say, I will not be back and I will continue to warn others!!

The store in general is great! Unfortunately when it comes to the pharmacy, there is a younger pharmacy technician who is always very rude and short and acts as if any question is an inconvience on her behalf any time my wife or I come through to pick up prescriptions. We've mentioned it before to staff but it seems as if it's either falling on deaf ears or just that the person in general just does not care, which is fine, we'll just take our business elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Rude and extremely ignorant techs. I would go somewhere else if you can!!!

How CVS Won My Business: I visited Publix Pharmacy and had a change of insurance. It turns out that my insurance is not contracted with Publix, but I knew that my insurance was about to change again (long story) in just a couple months, and I wanted to keep my pharmacy the same since I had always been happy with the Publix in Jax where I moved from a few months ago. However, I got a hold of the CVS nearby to see if my insurance would cover my Rx there (yes, it would). I talked with the pharmacist about transferring the Rx. She said that given the circumstances (again, long story), they would be unable to transfer it. However, she told me about an online discount card that would likely drive the cost of the Rx down to about what I was used to paying out of pocket. Keep in mind that the CVS pharmacist didn't get my business on this transaction, and she knew she wouldn't, though she helped me save a ton of money anyway. I then went to Publix to get my Rx, and it was very slow. There were two pharmacists (their pics were on the wall) and one technician. The only customer they had (me) stood at the pick up counter while they all ignored me for nearly five minutes. I'm a pretty patient guy, but when I've waited this long and I can tell they were fighting the urge to make eye contact with me or even say, “hello; someone will be with you shortly,†I think that tells you quite a bit about how a store prioritizes customer service. Finally, the technician came over. She said loudly, “you don't have insurance?†I explained the situation. She then said, “it's going to be $xx; do you still want it?†I said I did, and that I have a discount card from the web. She rolled her eyes at me, and went to talk to the pharmacist for a few moments. She had made quite an ordeal of all of this, typing abnormally hard on the keyboard, clearly exasperated by the situation. At the end of all this, I ended up paying only about $5 more than what I am used to, and only thanks to a CVS pharmacist who had nothing to gain in the moment except through helping another person. I used to think Publix stood for strong customer service values (at least at other locations, I believe they do), but this is an example of how they lost a customer and CVS gained one.
