After waiting the entire day in the waiting room that plays CNN news all day. Roaches all over the place. Charges us $345. When we finally left after 7 hours the A/C blew cold for 10 minutes. But it was like he waited until Friday 5pm to have us leave then was unable to get in contact with. We counted our loses, and went somewhere else to fix our cars air conditioning.

My husband and I took our vehicle to the dealer for a simple oil change on a car that has been meticulously maintained. Imagine our surprise to be informed the vehicle needed $5800.00 in repairs. I asked my best friend who was her independent mechanic and she told me to call Orange Park Auto Air and ask if they could please give a second opinion. There was nothing wrong with the vehicle except two hoses needed new clamps. Amazing, as the dealer had suggested Replacing Right and Left CV Axel Assemblies, Replacing Power Steering Pump, Perform brake fluid exchange and Replace Front Struts. And, again, NONE of this was needed and I received instruction as to why and when these items DO need replacing. Imagine my surprise that I saved a fortune and got an EDUCATION as well. All for $95.00 because that was what the owner charged me to go over ALL of this and road test vehicle and give me an education. The kicker to the story is that IF ALL of this was necessary, the cost would have been $2200.00. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HONESTY AND EDUCATING US.

I called Mr Freeze to get my ac compressor replaced (with is a pretty common request) the guy started the phone call by saying hello like he wanted nothing to do with me. after i asked him if i could make an appointment to replace the ac compressor he snapped at me asking how i know that's the problem. i told him exactly how i know and he continued to give me the worst costumer service i've ever received by snappily saying he can not replace it.. which is odd since he's working for an auto repair company specializing in AC?? After he basically yelled at me saying he can not replace i tried to ask why but he abruptly hung up the phone on me. The absolute worst costumer service i've ever received

Don't waste your time. Not a real shop. Was told, "I do AC charges for friends and family" He said he doesn't have a shop no more.

After looking at the website I figured that Orange Park auto air was very particular about the repairs they conduct, as it stated that no estimates or diagnosis would be provided unless the vehicle was inspected by the shop. I have an 18-year-old sports car that I wanted the air conditioning fixed right. Finding the OEM parts for it was very difficult but it was the only thing Steve was going to put in my car, rather than use a less than ideal aftermarket part. Steve was dedicated on doing the job correctly, cost-effective, and in a timely manner. I am very happy with my repair and the cost. I also appreciate his detective work in finding a new OEM part that was fairly rare. This isn't something I asked him to do, it is the standard that he sets for himself. Also his warranty is four times as long as my regular mechanic. I will never take an AC issue anywhere else.

The ac in my car stopped blowing cold air. Took it to get looked at when I got an oil change and they quoted me at almost 3,000. That was insane and definitely could not afford it. I went on yelp to see if there were good reviews else where. I found orange park auto air. The guy was very nice on the phone and stated I could bring anytime. He quoted me at 500 which I almost cried cause that was so much more affordable. He got the part and did the work all in one day. He was very nice in explaining what was broken and that it wasn't a big job. I would definitely recommend as it was affordable, honest and quick.

I needed to get an estimate for my credit card company because the last AC mechanic didn't do a good job at all and I will have to get it done over. Although I had to pay $40 to Me Freeze for a written estimate, at least it was meticulous and exactly what the credit card company needs from me so I can get my charge back from the last mechanic. Steven saw me right away and he's a friendly guy but all business

Steve just tries to be funny on Facebook. He should just stick to a/c and keep his nose out of other business

My ac has been miserable at best. I've taken it to a dealer who said it was fine with no leaks. Then it started blowing hot air instead of just the fan. Since I have a 17 mile commute to Fleming every day ... having all the windows down made me have convertible hair and need another shower when I got home. Fearing the worst my husband found Steve Beard's Orange Park Auto Air on Yelp. He diagnosed one problem as only a tiny leak by running the system for 3 hours and injecting dye. The hvac control knob was loose and it needed only a small amount of Freon. We were happy that it ran again and my husband picked me up with it blasting cold air at last. Honest man with the motto: Auto repair as it used to be Don't go to a dealer / see Steve Girl directions - your gps will get you lost. It is located behind Lowe's and the bowling alley. Drive past the bowling alley and turn left to the first bank of storage units/businesses behind it. Drive into the alley off Blanding between Cap World and Lowe's.

Took my car in with an issue with air not blowing consistently cold. OP Auto Air had it back to me within a couple hours after dropping it off and asked me to drive ti around for a few days to ensure everything works before paying. I insisted on paying their labour for that day but was told not to worry about it. A few hundred miles later, everything is working great and I went back to pay an extremely reasonable rate for the work they performed. Would recommend.

I stopped in as my ac was not working and my car was running rough when ac was on. Steve took time to look at my car and put it on a machine and evaluated the situation. He told me what was wrong and if you want a honest and fair estimate you need take your car there. Not only has he gained me as a customer I will also recommend his shop to anyone I know who has any car issues with their ac. Its nice to know there are honest and hard working people in Orange Park.

This last Summer I was looking to support the local man and needed some automotive work done. I stumbled across the rave reviews about Steve's shop. I've taken my car there twice for brakes, oil change and then a headlight repair. My daughters for an electrical issue which ended up being a battery issue and an air issue which he advised when he looked up the info to go back to dealer and fight for them to pay since there's issues. I did and paid nothing. He is the most honest and sincere business man. I'm glad we have got a man like him working on our vehicles. They don't make them like him anymore. Honest and also he doesn't try to take you over the coals w his prices. I promise you won't be disappointed.
