The fish tanks were full of dead animals, a severely deformed lung fish in a feeder tank, brown hair algae growing on the filters.. the few reptiles they had were sick, the rabbits, ferrets, and hamsters were all lethargic... Told the cashier that there was an outbreak of brown hair algae in their tanks, and he replied "we know." You know?? But you are just casually selling death sentences for anyone's aquarium that is stupid enough to purchase from you? This place is gross, negligent, and clearly only cares about getting your money.

They advertise on their website that this location has a self service wash when they actually don't

I was in the store today to buy some reptile supplies but after seeing the condition the reptile tanks are in that contain living animals, I will not support a store that abuses animals. I didn't make a purchase. The tank has not been cleaned in months. I raise Leopard Geckos and there is no way they have cleaned this disgusting feces-covered tank in the last few months. At the age of the gecko, they only poop once or twice a week and there are over 100 piles of feces in the tank. Not to mention the wrong living conditions. The water dish has algae and mold growing in it showing it hasn't been cleaned in the last month or two either. Pet supermarket 835 Blanding Boulevard Orange Park FL 32065

I purchased a feeder Mouse from this location. I dumped the mouse in my tank and noticed mites crawling all over it. I went to the trash can to make sure that the mites were not already present in my tank and the container that the mouse came in was also covered in mites. I called the store and they offered me the option to bring in the mouse and switch it out. I told them that I was uncomfortable getting another mouse from them if they were experiencing a mite problem and I asked if they could instead just give me a discount on a pack of substrate. The gentleman I spoke with agreed that I could come in and he would hook me up with some substrate for the inconvenience. When I arrived the gentleman grabbed the manager who refused to honor the request. When I asked if I could look at the bins that the mice were kept in, the manager refused to let me look. The manager told me that mice were only kept in one bin which was free of mites. The gentleman that I talked to earlier informed me that mice were kept in multiple bins. At this time another gentleman entered the store and began asking me what the problem was about. This gentleman informed me that the employees routinely let him check the bins and select his own mice. this Pet Supermarket is knowingly sending mite infested feeder mice into customers' homes, potentially causing harm to their pets. In the short time since I informed them of the infestation, the number of feeder mice bins was reduced, and the store policy was changed so that the customers were no longer allowed to see the bins.

I like this store. We got grey kitty from there, Anatole and hes happy with his new home but great experience from there. I forgot the guys name but he had blond hair... im pretty sure he was the supervisor or manager but he was awesome with the adoption process. We were so sad we couldnt take his brother but will put the word out

Petsmart is locally accessible and easy to park.. They have a large variety of items for most pets. They have several fish to choose from and fish tanks. They offer birds, ferrets, hamster, rabbits and cats. PSmart also has a good selection of cute dog clothes and accessories. If you need items for a dog party they offer hats and cookies and cupcakes. Customer service seemed pretty friendly.

They're ALWAYS out of crickets and also give really bad advice about animals even when you don't ask for it. It's one thing to be giving out correct advice, but to be putting wrong information out there is just plain annoying. I truly feel sorry for the people that don't research and only listen to what they say.

I love pet supermarket because they offered me a card for points and discounts! It's fantastic and they have almost everything what I'm looking for! Foods and toys and treats are there already compared to other pet stores! It's cleanliness and very organized and the staffs are friendly!

This is a clean store. The service is great and they have s nice variety for the most part. My only complain is that they do not carry Halo which is my go-to for pet food. They do carry Blue and Taste of the Wild though.

Great selection at a discounted price. I was ordering Blue Buffalo puppy food online but now that I found this pet store I can save money on shipping.

We visit this store weekly. We buy crickets and dog food mostly...always very helpful staff and great deals. Sign up for the rewards card for your dog or cat food and you earn free food! Love it!
Also after petworld went out of business, this place is where to go for pinkies and mice for your critters.
