Great rice and shrimp.Asked for vegetarian because most food had pork or beef or chicken. Waiter was very kind and helpful as well as zestfully polite. For a Friday night they could be busier with this delicious food on their menu. Restaurant is hidden away but worth a Google Maps look to search it out. Will definitely return.

Authentic puertorrican flavor, !!! Love everything , reminded me of the Kioskos de Loiza, la Guancha, fiestas de San Sebastián , grandma cooking! Best “criollo” food in 4 years. �

I was a long time customer of El Palermo. When it switched to El Pegao, I have been trying to give them a chance, but sorry - won't be back. Out of 6 people, 3 orders were either wrong or food left off, one dinner never came while everyone else was finishing, just not happy at all. This was our go to place when family came in town, don't know where we will go now for Puerto Rican cuisine.
