I just saw a review of this store from a very ignorant shopper or a worker who failed to do their job. Winn Dixie is much cheaper than Publix and you had to do was give them your phone number and you could have gotten all the discounts posted . The cashier has a card for customers to use when they don't have one . Bad communication between customer and staff !!!

I usually shop at Publix for groceries, but needed to save a little cash this month, so I went to Winn-Dixie after receiving a page in the mail with coupons. Some appeared to be great deals! I got to the store and began shopping in the produce section. First thing I noticed was the lack of produce. It seemed there was not much of a selection. I started to scan the store for the deals on meats and poultry, but I came to find out the deals are ONLY for Winn-Dixie card holders. I scanned the coupon page that I received in the mail, and could not find anywhere on it that stated "with card only" or a related note. If it was on there, it was cleverly hidden, which I do not appreciate. I noticed all around the store that prices were significantly higher than the Publix four miles down the road, which is normally unheard of. I spent close to $70 and got a noticeably smaller amount of food I usually bring home. I won't ever be shopping here again and I'm gong to let my neighbors know.

I don't normally shop at Winn Dixie but this one is clean and easy to get in and out of. the parking lot is sort of weird but other than that the staff s always friendly and they normally have some type of food deal that makes it worth visiting every once and a while.

Pretty nice Winn-Dixie! Love all the signs hanging atop each aisle with the best deal on there. I can always find something I need when I walk in at the "Buy 1, Get 1 Free" table (and also throughout the store). BE SURE TO GRAB AN AD BY THE DOOR, they have all kinds of stuff on there and special deals where if you buy a certain product(s) you can get 3 different items completely free to go along with it! I've mainly been coming in here to get my rent Money Order (ONLY $0.69!!!) and to buy cigs (pretty cheap in cost too). Customer service from everyone is so wonderful as everyone is always asking how your day is, and the cashiers are pretty wonderful too! Shout out to the young male cashier with glasses for always being so sweet ^~^

To me, Winn Dixie's are a step down compared to Publix, but a step up to Wal-Mart. They always have some kind of special going on. My favorite deal is the buy one get one free deal. They are also coupon and WIC friendly, which is nice. They have self check outs, for those who want to do it themself. I'm not the biggest fan of Winn Dixie's produce. I do however LOVE their Cuban bread that they make in their bakery. This particular Winn Dixie is pretty clean. There is always at least one person that will greet you and ask you if you're finding everything ok. I am not too crazy about how this Winn Dixie is set up. The isles are a little confusing, but I end up finding what I need eventually.

Does it really matter what Winn-Dixie one visits? I remember this being an armpit of a grocery store when I lived in Florida 19 years ago (yikes! Has it been that long?) I walked to Winn-Dixie's from my Aunt and Uncle's house to get some fruit and yogurt for breakfast and to enjoy the walk. I arrived and was greeted by T-shirts, and lots of junk food...and the produce section seemed to be an after-thought. The selection of organic fruits and vegetables was minimal, as was the dairy selection. The service was helpful, but the FOOD options were abysmal. How is one supposed to sustain oneself when the majority of food items will send you right down the strip mall to CVS for a remedy? There was a bright spot at this Winn Dixie's -- Cuban Style bread. This is one thing I miss for all of my organic, local, sustainable produce I can get the in the Bay Area. We don't have a lot of grocers who make Cuban-style bread, let alone finding it readily in the local grocery store. It just seems an embarrassment for Florida to grow gorgeous fruits and vegetables (the avocados are so BEAUTIFUL and BRIGHT GREEN like I remember...very different from the small and wrinkled Hass avocados I have to settle for in California) and for grocery stores located in Florida to carry sub-standard produce. SUGGESTION: Carry more FOOD items and less Halloween stuff.
