I was very happy with the service Brad was given when I took him there. The doctor was very thorough regarding Brad’s health issues and gave me a choice of how I would proceed. I would recommend Pearl Blue to anyone looking for a doctor for their pets.

AMAZING staff. My dog is very timid and fearful, yet they took their time with him and treated him like a king. They were so incredibly kind and answered any questions I had. 10/10 can not recommend them enough!!

Very helpful and kind. I highly recommend them. They worked with me and my budget to improve my dogs life. They didn't over charge me or push me into expensive tests. They even made my old dog feel comfortable and he's scared of vets. I highly recommend them!

All the staff, from receptionist to technicians, to the doctor, had the upmost professionalism during a very emotional and stressful time. They continued to be patient and responsive when I had to call back with follow up questions. I highly recommend the Blue Pearl Veterinary to assist when you have an emergency.

Brought my dog in after a dog bite incident. I appreciate everything they did for him and the care. But, the markup prices for post treatment items are ridiculous. 850% mark up for antibiotics? That is crazy. They were also recommending I get a blood panel done for pain medication because “it could affect his kidneys”. When he’s perfectly healthy and never had any health issues other than seasonal allergies.
Here is a quick breakdown of the prices:
Medicated eye gel

You should not take advantage of someone’s situation, especially their pets. If they are taking them to an ER then they probably care a lot and will pay whatever for them. For items to be triple the price or have 850% markup on medication shows extremely low morals and ethics. I even asked the Vet Tech why the antibiotics were so expensive and she said “because we are an emergency clinic.” Didn’t even bother recommending a written prescription until I asked for one. Please do your homework and see if you can get a written prescription to save some money if it isn’t immediately needed to save your pets life. I’m never coming here again.

We lost our BELOVED aussie shepard Charlie ..on his walk he collapsed it happened so suddenly..he was barely 11 but my family and I rushed him to Blue Pearl
I have lost 2 dogs here but they were 18 and 15 ..I am heartbroken...I.believe..Kathleen explained his heart had failed and it can happen in 24 hours ..Charlie was a force and was surrounded by love as he peacefully passed over Rainbow ? Bridge
Thank you to the Doctor and to all the compassion and help we received ..wemiss him so very much but I knew it was the right choice to let him pass on

After rushing my sick fur baby to Blue Pearl it was determined he was in need of an ultra sound asap by Dr Russel. He was taking care of by Kari that night who made sure he was looked over. The next day after the ultra sound Dr Harper took over to perform surgery and remove a large mass on his liver and remove his gall bladder with success. At all times during and while he was recovering Dr Harper /Kari /Dr Vega and all the vet techs that were on duty were fantastic in providing me with info on his daily progress. At any time of day or night I was able to check on him and any questions or concerns were addressed with compassion and professionalism. I will never hesitate to bring any animal to Blue Pearl ever. My gratitude to Dr Harper/Dr Russell/Dr Vega / Kari and all the vet techs who aided me and my baby Lucky with saving his life. Thank you always.

During one of my hardest night, the staff was so kind and helpful. I unfortunately had to say goodbye to my cat but the staff at Blue Pearl took their time to explain all options available. When it came time to let him go, they gave me all the time I needed with him and even made me beautiful keepsakes to remember him by.

If your baby is having an emergency and you have found yourself here and you’re scared and you are wondering if you can afford this place, then stop and look up the number or address for Focused Pet Care 10 minutes away on Kingsley. Blue Pearl may be a perfectly fine ER but the amount of money they charge is out of most people’s reach. My heart sank yesterday thinking I would have to take my baby home to pass or potentially consider euthanasia and not because the complications he was suffering from were untreatable but because I could not cough up a nearly $5000 deposit fast enough for what could have been a $7000 treatment and they did not attempt to bargain with us on the cost of care, they instead offered to reduce the amount of care which might as well mean the quality. In a panic I came here at my veterinarian’s insistence but I wish I had taken a minute to gather my wits and made a few phone calls myself first. A few months back we had already visited Focused and had an outstanding experience.
The nurses and reception at Blue Pearl were incredibly kind and well aware that their pricing was astronomical if not bordering on the absurd and predatory. What I expected to be a difficult conversation or potential confrontation was nothing of the sort. It turns out the veterinary ER world is a small one and most nurses work shifts at multiple ERs. They were so understanding and cooperative when I told them I was taking him elsewhere. That is worth so much when it feels like your world is crumbling but just to offer comparison, the price for the same services at Focused were estimated to be $1500-$2200 and they only asked for a 50% deposit of the low estimate. Don’t end up in a situation where you could potentially lose your beloved family member over money because money is the bottom line here.

Had to take my pup here at 4am & they were amazing. They were the 3rd hospital I went to & the only ones actually open. The office was very clean, staff was very friendly & knowledgeable, & the pricing was super reasonable.
