On my first shopping trip here, I couldn't find a sales associate. Once I did find one, my transactions were processed quickly.Yesterday was my second trip to the store, and the place was staffed for the huge ongoing sale. I came home with many items and products.

The place was extremely dirty and run down, all of the carpeting was VERY soiled, the AC vents had several feet of dust/mold all the way around them I felt like I was going to get sick just walking into the place. I had to use the restroom and the upstairs carpeting was even worse, extremely stained and soiled looked like it hasn't been cleaned in YEARS and the bathrooms had holes all in the walls and broken dispensers. Would not go back due to how dirty it was.

We went on a week day when it's not very busy and found some bargains, sales people were helpful. Some of the carpets need to be cleaned or replaced.

Inexperienced employees should not be working Customer Service. Went in simply to make a payment on my Belk card. Watched Gina fumble thru helping the customer in front of me, that was my warning sign. Took my payment info and fumbled thru the process, my card was charged but no receipt. Had me input my payment info a 2nd time and fumbled thru the process and my card was again charged but no receipt. Wanted to do it a third time but I asked for a manager. Good thing I have funds in my account or she could have overdrawn my account. Maryanne came thru to show Gina the correct steps but you need your Belk Mastercard card and I didn't have it so I still had to call the toll free number. Wish I would have done that to start with. Belk, please train your employees better, Gina is lost. How can she assist customers when she doesn't know the process.
