I have had auto coverage from Allstate for 25 years. I have made the mistake of going through them to try to add homeowners. On Monday 5/17 they took my money and sent me the document. It did not have sinkhole coverage that I wanted. So I immediately contacted them to cancel it. I was told that it would be inexpensive for me to add that coverage, but I had to wait for it to come out of underwriting. So that should have happened by Friday 5/21, but I did not hear from them. I called yesterday to follow up. My current policy expires at midnight tonight and I still do not have the information from my agent's office.
