I am so impressed with this vet. I had never been to them before but found myself in a situation that one of my dogs needed to be since immediately and I was unable to go to our primary vet. I called them and after asking what was going on the immediately made a spot for us. When we arrived I was a mess to say the least and I was unable to get my injured girl out of my vehicle so the doctor and 2 or 3 assistants came out to my vehicle and did the exam right there. Not only was he able to calm me down a bit he went over his thoughts and suggested I might should go to the emergency clinic because what she needed they were better equipped for even though he could treat her but he gave me the option and took the time to explain it to me. I felt like this clinic was so accommodating and we had never even been there before.
After the emergency visit they had had said that for the follow up we could go back to Volusia Woods for stitch removal and an exam so that’s what we did. Of course it didn’t end there due to the location of the injury and when I called them and told them the situation we were in now the girl on the phone asked if I could send photos of what was going on and she would have the doctor look at them. I couldn’t believe it what I have never had a doctor of any kind take the time let alone ask to be able to completely understand before bringing her back what was going on. Not fifteen min goes by the call me back and said to bring her right in and they would be able to do something. I was like wow they made that so simple and convenient. We all know how distraught you get when your animal gets injured and you don’t know what’s going on. They once again came out for her comfort and took care of her in my truck and when I commented how awesome it was that they did that the response was that it was for my dogs comfort. I have never been more grateful. I will now be taking all of my animals there and any. Ew ones that come my way.!!!

The vet was thorough, explained the process and all that is involved. My Cheepo was handled with kindness. Staff was nice.

I always fine the receptionist, vets and vet assistants to be friendly and knowledgable. They listen and are there to help. I’ve recommend to anyone looking for a good vet to give them a try.

Everyone from the doctor to the staff were so helpful and kind. They were also very knowledgeable and worked with me help resolve Sweetpea’s issue. I am so thankful that they are willing to see your pet quickly when there is an issue.

I am really happy with Volusia Woods. I made the decision to swap to them from another vet in the area due to much better customer service. While their prices might be slightly higher than my previous vet, the overall experience is not even close. So far I will recommend Volusia Woods to anyone that asks.
