I would give them no stars if it would let me. I made a hair appointment online with Cynthia R. I could not figure out what I needed so I went ahead and called to make sure I booked the appointment correctly and they had the colors I wanted. To my surprise I was speaking with Cynthia R. I told them I wanted a mermaid hair coloring and I wanted to make sure they had other colors than regular. She said yes, she said that is your hair blonde enough I said no it will definitely need to be bleached. She said okay. She said oh your appointment is with me and I said oh great. She said see you on Saturday. My surprise I get there early today and she asked what I wanted. I showed her the picture and she said we doing it over your current color I got suspicious. I said no. I explained I called before my appointment to confirm because I was not sure if I booked my appointment correctly and I told Cynthia that she said well I do not know who you talked to but they did not change the appointment. I said I spoke to you. Cynthia then said well I do not have time. I can see if another stylist feels comfortable to do the appointment. I said no I am not feeling comfortable and that I spoke to you on the phone prior to confirm the appointment was schedule correctly. I told her I am not comfortable on how this whole situation happened. I do not want another stylist. She said Merry Christmas & Happy New Years. I then called back and spoke to Christina/e the salon manager and she asked me who my appointment was with and my appointment was deleted from my profile. She started defending Cynthia on how the appointment was as booked for full color. I explained I called prior to the appointment to confirm everything I needed to get done. The manager just going back I said that I can tell that this is going no where. My next step was to call corporate which I texted them see attach text. They said call the store. I said I did and they were no help. They said they are going to escalate it but I feel it is not going anywhere. I highly DO NOT recommend going here. They do not care how you feel or how uncomfortable they make you feel. I can see now why they have an overall 2 star rating. Stay away from them. Go to a professional salon.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! This location has the absolute worst hair salon out of all the Ulta salons in this country. I had an appointment for a silk press however the stylist did not finish claiming she didn't have enough time to flat iron all of my hair. I even got to my appointment early since I have curly hair. It took her a while to detangle my hair (mind you I've been to plenty stylists who never took not even close to an hour to detangle my hair). She used that as an excuse for her running out of time. Long story short I had to go home and finish my own hair. I will NEVER give my hard earned money to this location ever again. Don't get me wrong, she was nice but this was piss poor service to not finish a client's hair based on what the appointment was set for.

This store runs out of birthday gifts and my birthday is the first of the month with no subs. They also require an ID for pickup. I buy stuff at target online and never have to produce my ID. I have the confirm on my phone and a debit card with my name but that's not enough?!? It's not like this stuff is expensive.

Ulta Salon not the rest of the store was horrible, this is the second and last time I will schedule anything with the salon. The first time the stylist left the back of my hair wet and that was in Daytona Beach. Then the salon in orange city called and requested my appointment be moved up, I skipped an eye appt. To accommodate the change. Then the stylist said I don't have time to deep condition and dry your hair, you request another treatment online. I said I only know deep conditioning which is what I requested. She told me I can do anything because it will interfere with the next customer, however they couldn't do anything for their current customer. I will definitely not recommend the salon to anyone.

I went to Ulta to receive my birthday gift and was met by a rude associate at the counter. A younger girl, I did not catch her name. She blatantly said "we dont have the birthday gift" no I'm sorry, no information on how to fix it. Just flat out rude. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. This is not the first time there has been a rude associate either. The people in Sanford are much nicer and worth the drive.

If I could select 0 stars I would. Today, 12/20/22 I went into the Orange City Ulta location to return a Morphe eyeshadow palette and get store credit for returning it. I believe her name was Jailene assisted me. She scanned the palette and without asking me it immediately went back to the card I used to purchase. When I asked if the transaction could be reversed she quickly told me no and that I would have to select how I would like my receipt. Her attitude was very cold, as if she could careless. I knew I should've went to the Sanford location. Every time I go to this location I ALWAYS have an issue. I also tried calling the store to speak with a manager and apparently she is one of them! I also tried calling the Ulta customer service phone number and that was no help as well. UPDATE: prior to receiving an email back on 12/30/22 I was given the opportunity to take a customer satisfaction survey. To which my surprise on 12/30/22 I received an email from customer service apologizing for the customer experience I had as well as a $15 gift card which was a nice surprise but certainly wasn't expecting either!

Honestly I've enjoyed my experience each time I've been in here (and I'm in here quite a bit). I will say, however, I always know exactly what I'm looking for. So I can't speak to the guidance or recommendations of employees. But they're always very quick at finding what I'm in there for, if I don't see it right away. Also, Matty helped me today with a 21 DOB pickup order. Super helpful. I knew it wasn't ready but was in the area and didn't wanna make another trip. Matty took care of it right away with a smile and professional efficiency.

Ulta Orange city Florida, WORST SERVICE IMAGINABLE!!!!! Never again will I do my shopping there for my wife's things and she refuses to go back also. So pitiful.

HORRIBLE DO not EVER get your hair done here! I didnt even get a color, and my hair got fried.... I went in to get my hair styled, for an event, and came out with fried hair..... I wish I could put a before and after picture! My hair is below my shoulder blades, and i have now fried hair up to my ears.... I have now reached out to a much better quality salon, and they told me, that Ulta's heat tools have to have expired, and are too old, and the heat calibrator in the tools have gone bad... and that olaplex might not even salvage my hair.... I am now waiting to hear from Ulta's claims department because this is unacceptable!

Used to love Ulta! I just turned pretty sick and wanted to still order all my stuff online. Order a bunch and it automatically shipped it to my billing Address and I live in a rough neigh where many packages get stolen so I bought a B.O box but when I called second after I order they said they couldn't change it :( any help on any other good beauty places I can still get all my faves? Thanks in Advances babes

Don't don't don't order online from these people. Accidentally made a mistake for some reason my billing address is correct but my shipping address was wrong, once I notice this I attempted to call and get this fix. I notice it right away I had to wait one hour for them to open when I called. The rep said there is nothing they can do to change the address. I spoke to her supervisor and she said she can try to cancel the order but can't guarantee it will canceled. The order definitely hasn't shipped yet how is this such a thing? I'm sure this has been an issue before but yet no one knows how to fix this. Better off going somewhere else

Once again, the staff at this particular Ulta are inattentive and rude. I was the only one in the store and employees were all carrying on with their conversations near the hair salon and again, I had to approach them even after making eye contact. Their customer service needs help. This is a newer Ulta and it is super spacious! Every time I come in it is super neat and organized. They always have everything set up perfectly in a neat and shoppable set up. I love that they offer brow, hair and facial services in addition to all of the makeup and skincare. It's truly a one stop shop. The customer service is also amazing. Since Erica took over as General Manager I have noticed a difference in the stores appearance and overall customer service!

I'm a loyal Ulta customer and have been for years, but this store location and it's awful customer service is a result of poor customer service from the top down. I never get the same answer about products from more than one employee, which exemplifies incongruent messaging. Anytime there's a promotion from Ulta, this store is "out." For example, Tarte was giving away mascara if you spent $35, and I wanted to try said mascara. So I bumped my purchase up to $35 only to be lazily told by the cashier that they're out of all promotional items, no apologies offered. The worst is the actual store manager...she is trite and snippy and always appears to be bothered by the consumer. I tried to return something once, and she questioned me about the item like I was a criminal. I've reported this all to corporate and they didn't even blink. All in all, if you enjoy Ulta, go to the website and purchase directly there. They turn around pretty decent shipping time and prices, you'll get all your promotional offers and you won't have to deal with the hassle of the orange City team.

Poor customer service. Not one of the three staff I saw greeted me or asked if I needed help, despite the store being almost empty. I wandered around for a little while by myself, then left. I'll shop elsewhere. This Ulta is a disappointment.
