I went in wanting primer to seal my ceilings with water damage. I was sold 10 gallons of stain blocking primer. Days later the stains came back. I went in to discuss what happened and the same girl explained that I needed an oil based primer for that. I explained that she listened to me a few days earlier and sold me the incorrect primer and she said they start off with that one because it "could" help. If it doesn't then they suggest the oil based. To me that says, they will take hundreds of dollars from you knowing you will have to return and spend more money to redo all your work correctly and they do it on purpose.

I do a lot of painting haven’t been in this store for a year because I could never get anyone to wait on me. Tried the store today and nothing has changed. Three women behind the counter laughing/chatting with a male customer. I was there about 10 minutes hoping someone would offer to assist. I finally left, but they did say goodbye. I recommend the SW store on Saxon. GREAT customer service.

I Was very happy with service received. They were friendly and informative. They had the product I was looking for and many more products. Everything was explained to me with patience. Overall experience was superior. It felt like “the way it used to be”for customer service which is hard to find nowadays.

Got to the store at 5:56pm, the open sign was on and the employee (heavier set person) looked at me and just did the "no sign" with his finger... I knocked in the door and pointed to my watch, he made a bad face and came to the door huffing and puffing. He opened the door and told me: "You have two minutes!" I just told him to not bother, if you dont want to sell me paint, just shut down the store! I went to buy two gallons of paint and knew that to mix it and pay it would take more than two minutes.What is up with these people? Business said that it is open until 6pm but it was closed before then... if they dont want to sell it, dont run it!I will never go back there again.I had all the paint numbers and pictures of the colors and paint I needed, so I will buy it somewhere else. Save yourself a hustle and do not go there!! I dont recomend it to no one!!

My partner recently bought a condo in the area. In order to make the place more to our tastes, we decided to paint the kitchen cabinets. Thankfully when I stopped into this store, I met Amanda. She took the time to listen to my ideas and then offered a few options. She also told me what she would choose. Once we selected the paint (a latex polyurethane), we worked on perfecting the colors. I saw a blue for the bottom cabinets and a grey for the uppers. Outfitted with the right equipment, I set to work. A few weeks later (was mostly working on weekends), the kitchen was completed. Appliances are on back order. I could not be happier with the finished product. And it all goes back to Amanda. She knows her stuff and gave me helpful hints. Thanks to her and some amazing paint, I am loving my kitchen. A few before and after pictures.

In general I have has a good experience here. I suggest you ask lots of questionsto learn a about the most economical & best product for the job. You can do your own research online. You don't have to buy very expensive paint to get good or best results. It is important to buy the right tools that is: quality rollers and paint brushes for the particulat paint & job.Listen to experts, not to novices in reviews that don't know what they are doing.I have been very satisfied with their products. Meaning good looks and durability.I am a Real Estate Investor and I am very pleased using Sherwin Williams products.Again ask lots of questions for best results.They also have Interior Decorators for advice on colors. Walked in on Sunday 9/12/21 at 1:00, one employee in the store. I was looking at the small paper paint samples. I asked him if there was a popular neutral paint color that did not have gray in it but maybe a bit of very light tan. He showed me ONE sample, I said I was looking for something a little lighter. He said that's all he had and literally walked away to the front counter. I was the ONLY customer in the store. I looked on my own, got my own samples but will not be buying anything from this store. Too bad for them, I'm new to the area and a real estate investor. Another customer walked in before I left, although he answered the mans questions he seemed completely uninterested in helping him either.
