I'm a small contractor and I frequently go to home depot on 12055 Biscayne Blvd to purchase items for my jobs. Yesterday I were disturb by an officer employed by home depot behavior towards a customer. A young lady was loading her things into her vehicle while the officer that was checking recipts at the exit of Home Depot approached her & accused her of stealing. I don't know how important caulking is but the officer got too aggressive with the young lady by getting in her face and clutching his weapon only for her to show him that he was wrong about accusing her of not paying for her items. If he truly felt that she stolen something why did he not say something to her before she left the store? Smh. I wonder what would have happened if she threw away or lost her receipt before she got to her car then what? Because this happens alot to people me included. This incident made me so upset & more concerned as a customer with how we are treated. You spend your hard earned money in home depot waiting in their long line and because they don't offer bags for large purchases you're treated like a criminal because you have unbagged items. Half the time the security at the exit isn't even doing their job and paying attention to customers and asking for receipts. Like I mentioned before I go to home depot often, 5 time out of the week some time 2 to 3 time a day and the security and other associate is to busy on their phones or talking to each to have the audacity to accuse someone after they exit the store and are in the parking loading their vehicle of stealing. Shame on you Home Depot for treating your customers like thieves. If she had been my wife, sister, or daughter let's just say I wouldn't have been as calm as that lady when that officer yelled & falsely accused her of not paying for her purchases.

4 customer "service" reps standing looking down whole 10 people in line... no sense of service.

The appliance specialist, Andre Bozewski is the most valuable person you can meet if you need a new appliance for your home. He actually cares about his job and is conscientious. In addition he is very knowledgeable. I had issues not related to my sale or install and he worked hard to resolve them. I highly recommend Andre and The Home Depot is lucky to have him in their employ.

Ah yes, I'm not wasting my time reading other reviews but I see two stars is not cutting it for everyone. Look, I just wanted some paint, that's all, but like most other stock market listed companies rabid need to increase the value of its share price EVERY QUARTER it has resulted apparently in the least qualified/experienced staff at the paint department because you can pay them nothing, just enough perhaps to afford the car to get them to your big box, and then have them pay tax on their transportation servitude. But I have to say, before I get to enjoy this, wandering around the store I overheard several employee conversations quite openly discussing management or specifically other employees in a carefree manner, I expected a discussion about whether it was a 2 by 4 or if it was pine or oak but no, it was 'she's a real b***** or 'I don't trust any of them in the whatever dept'. I was used to the usual Home Depot answer of 'ISLE FIVE' whether you were wanting a ceiling fan or sheetrock, everyone just says isle five to get rid of you, or if they are new to the company they'll admit they don't have a clue, 'it's not their department'. So when I arrived at the paint desk I mentally reviewed where I had parked the car in case I needed to make a run for it. I wasn't disappointed, the young man did not answer when I said 'good morning, how are you doing', so knowing there's probably a button for a troublesome shopper I took the risk of some cynicism and said 'hey, I'm fine, thanks for asking', his look went from mildly annoyed why had I bothered him to some kind of death stare, the car came to mind but just before it got intense a slightly more conscious woman stepped up and said 'how can I help you ', at which point I asked some basic questions about flat/eggshell/gloss appropriateness for painting walls. In short, it's a totally shitty place to go, you can spend a long time wondering around poorly labelled isles not daring to approach employees embroiled in the latest daily crapola, I guess they have gobbled up all competition and this is the end game where the consumer is totally shafted without options, all I can say is try ACE, if you can find one. One star is a bit generous, can we get a half Yelp?

This Home Depot is the worst. We waited 15-20 minutes to get help with tile and even though someone called 3 times, no one ever came. There is no one to help on the floor and the store is messy. They did not even apologize when we asked to speak to the manager. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

They have a new return system and boy does it suck loads of workers yet the line never moves. The old system was better. Thumbs down I will say the checkout in the garden Dept was very pleasant.

Shop here for long time. Good luck finding an available associate!!! Consider yourself extremely lucky if you did. Bad service because there's no competition so they allow themselves. Very upsetting, bad service and sill profitable. How many people understand what they need or can cut blinds... ???!!

This is the... I lost count of how many times... that I've come in to this specific Home Depot and they don't have what I need in stock. This time, it was simple septic tank cleaner that I was looking for, and the brand I use, they didn't have on the shelves. This is a f*cking pitiful location of a Home Depot. And I'm sick and tired of coming in here to buy simple household supplies and they don't have it. I'd rather pay more for this stuff and get what I can at Target. Update... 2 weeks later, went in for the same septic tank stuff and STILL don't have it. On top of that, I wanted a hedge trimmer, decided in the specific one I wanted, and they DID NOT have that one in stock. F****** horrible store.

I absolutely hate coming here. Nasty, rude and condescending are the requirements to get a job here. NO ONE knows anything. They just do not care to help you anyway. The employees walk around with music on their cell phone and do not want to be bothered by you. Why does this have to be the worst place with the worst customer service ever. I try to go anywhere but here. Such a shame that management doesn't give a hoot

This is truly one of the worst Home Depot stores, and corporate should be ashamed to allow it to continue to operate like this. No one here shows any pride or interest in their work, and most associates have no knowledge about the areas they represent, from plumbing to gardening. Standing in the checkout line is worse than a TSA queue. The most recent misadventure here was buying a Christmas tree, an activity that should radiate joy. The men "working" in the Christmas tree area of the nursery were not only unhelpful (didn't have knives to open the trees) but we're also disingenuous, saying they'd be "right with" customers, then walking away, verbalizing they were going on break. They were cursing and complaining, too, in a way that would have made me very uncomfortable if children had been around. From top to bottom, this store shows a compete lack of professionalism. Furthermore: the store is poorly stocked and disorganized (don't trust the online inventory on homedepot.com), and if you order something for pickup, the order is frequently cancelled (out of stock, despite what the website says) or can take more than a day to prep for pickup (the website says two hours). Save yourself the trouble, whenever you can, and visit the location in North Miami Beach. Don't say I didn't warn you. Home Depot: DO BETTER!

Worst Home Depot I ever been in my life! The associates working here are useless. Lazy and incompetent. Impossible to find anyone to help out in the aisles and even when you find one they either don't know or are too lazy to get someone who knows. Then I see a group of at least 5 just gathered around chatting and socializing. The manager doesn't care either once you complaint. AVOID THIS LOCATION

The only reason I go to this home depot is because it's close to my house...i would like to see this store stop hiring ghetto/ trashy people...i have stopped asking for help in this store... half the time they run away from you like they can't hear you. I'd hate to think that I'm treated poorly here because I'm white, but that's the feeling I get here. I've seen a high turnover at this store over the years, I don't blame them for wanting to move on from this store.
