I wanted to leave a review because I had such a great experience with Wanda at the passport counter. I wanted to thank her because she was so kind and patient; I had some complications on my end with passport paperwork, and was instructed errantly at a different passport agency before coming to the Oneco office. Wanda had an eagle eye and picked out several small errors that I had made; she was extremely competent. It really made something that should have been a headache, very smooth and easy . In addition, I came in the middle of the day and the PO was very easy to find, easy parking, and the post office was very calm and quiet. I will definitely tell anyone I know who is getting a passport to go here first, thanks again, Wanda!

Edit: not sure how this statement was racist, especially when I found 10+ reviews with similar experiences. Me needing to reschedule my appointment wasn’t the problem, it was Nita’s abrasive dismissive response thats a red flag 🚩
Despite being only 4 minutes late my appointment - due to the distressing news that my husband had lost his job the day before. I was met with no empathy or understanding, actually quite the opposite, Nita displayed a sense of entitled superiority. As if my brief delay had inconvenienced her, she immediately scolded me. “You should have been here 10 minutes early, like this gentleman here.” When I asked for some understanding and compassion, her response was dismissive: “I’ll finish him, and if the next person doesn’t come, I’ll help you.” Her tone suggested she was irritated by my request, and it almost seemed as though she took pleasure in my discomfort. This behavior not only lacked professionalism, but it also showed a disturbing lack of empathy. After reading local reviews, it appears I am not the only one who has encountered this, which only further suggests that this is part of a larger issue. If Nita continues to interact with the public, I believe she would greatly benefit from additional customer care training to help her develop the empathy, professionalism, and understanding that should be fundamental when working as a federal employee - public servant.

We came in yesterday as a walk in and they said they were no longer taking walk ins . They told us you can come in first thing in the morning get a number and we will be able to . Come this morning we get up and are the first ones here she said “ I can’t do passports today you have to pre fill out the paper work and then bring it in we won’t have time !
What do you mean we won’t have time you just opened?!!!! We then asked for the paper work and she said I don’t have it you have to down load it !! Mind you we were here yesterday and saw them hand the paper to fill out to another family!! What is wrong with the process!! Then she continues to say I’m all booked for walk ins tomorrow!!! How in the world are you book for walk ins the next ?? They are walk ins!!!! What do you mean ?? Help me understand . Then she said try Thursday as a walk in …. I’m sorry but she just seems lazy and didn’t want to do it . I only went here because a family member said it was quick and easy and they had everything ready here ! He even said he was helped to fill out the paperwork there. This place is a joke when you have workers like this . Customer service was horrible!!!

Bless the postal employees who have to deal with people like Lauren Kisiah. I was in the lobby while she held up the line and made a scene because her husband showed up VERY late and missed his own passport appointment. She used every sob story you can think of. Why does your husband losing his job the day before give you a free pass to show up late? It’s 2025 Lauren, the world does not revolve around you. Nita is an absolute saint for not choosing violence. What do you people not understand about arriving 10 minutes early for your passport appointment?
Anyways, love this little outpost. It’s always been one of my favorite locations and the employees really are the best. They recognize the regulars and do their best to provide the ultimate customer service; even when people like Lauren forget to jump down off their racist high horse.

Lady with I think a headband is extremely rude, never had a nice encounter with this person. I don’t understand why people work at these kind of places where you have to engage with customers, if you hate your job that much QUIT!

I arrived 2 minutes late for a passport appt, lady said they were already taking another girl for my appt. Really?
She didn't even bother making sure I had the right documents so when I made my 2nd appt missing one of the documents, they send me away again.. not a care in the world .

COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! manger Jackie I believe was a complete RACIST . Heard her talking EXTREMELY rudely to this elderly couple (I know from our community Chruch) they only know Spanish Jackie encountered them and said “ no one in here speaks Spanish you need to speak ENGLISH”???? EXCUSE ME . Coming from immigrant parents it strikes a nerve , so I got up and said I’ll be more than happy to translate to for you so me & my father did so since my Spanish is a bit broken we go to pay and another employee checks us out ignacio & his wife BOTH are talking to me because again I’m translating the transaction, Jackie ( the manager) tells me can you tell him to shut up IM SORRY??? This is when I really stepped in & gave her the same energy back.
She said he’s being very rude to me I stated back do you know Spanish ? She said a bit I said back then you’d know he’s talking to me and not you secondly if you knew Spanish you would have helped them but you didn’t ? THIRD ! I can (a broken up Spanish speaker )barley understand them because they are from the Dominican Republic ( they talk very fast) so she lied there’s no way in HELLL would she know if he was being rude I was focused on something else when Ignacio was supposedly “being rude” she also mentioned that he was making signals with his hands (a lot of people Spanish/ English etc speakers use hands to talk) I cannot speak on what he was doing with his hands because I wasn’t looking but other then him being “rude” he WASNT . That’s really when I knew what type of unprofessional manager she was, I finished paying and translating the employee said “I’m so sorry for that she does that a lot “ or something along those lines and I said oh really ? I was going to leave it at that but you know what give me her name please so she did she came out and I said is there anything higher up then u ? She said I am the manager I said NO IS THERE ANYTHING HIGHER UP THEN U . She was a bit hesitant to give me corporates number but she said it’s in the back of ur receipt we left it at that but she THREATENED ME ??? She stated “I’m telling them you helped them with there information and ur a complete stranger to them” I am NOT a stranger to them they cannot even write or read correctly our paster at our church helped them fill it out . I obviously did not tell her because it’s NON OF HER BUSINESS. She after threatening me I stated back “ you do not need to tell me that you need to tell whoever your going to call that, if you are from Bradenton FL you know most of our population here is LATINOS we are the main ones that come into this location I’ve been at this facility 2 days straight because I’ve missed my appointments while I’m sitting in the parking lot I have seen nothing but Latinos coming into this facility so if this is how THIS postal office works we have a problem me as a US CITIZEN FIRST GENERATION EVERYTHING ( Ignacio IS ALSO A US CITIZENS) I take this to heart . I am actually going to school to become an immigration lawyer my parents both came here with nothing and now OWN ! A home and have a stabled life but PEOPLE LIKE JACKIE are the reason many Latinos have such a hard time adjusting here & get humiliation from people like her I could have been very unprofessional but I kept myself together I was SHAKING because of how mad I was this is something I see on the internet not something that actually happens but now that it did I surly told corporate we had a very long professional talk and I appreciate that . Even if they decided not to do anything just know ! Karma is a B!tch and everything that comes around gets around when you least expect it .

Obtained the first appointment online and drove here to be told the minor child has to appear in person. Obtained another appointment and took time off work and pulled my child out of school to arrive 15 minutes early, as per the website, to be told they’re running late!!! I know there are circumstances but I don’t appreciate it when my time is not valued because if I was “late” to my appointment, they wouldn’t be so understanding!!!

Called for over 2 hours in need of assistance from my post office there. Phone rings for 2-4 minutes and then hangs up on me. Called the technical support line and nothing they can do to help apparently. Worst service I've had in a long time and this ain't McD's. Thanks for the utterly horrible service from my tax dollars, postage/shipping, and PO box. Cranial anial insertion maybe???

They lost my package. Delivered it to the completely wrong address. Sentimental things. Yes we had insurance and they barely looked for it. Really sad about this
