Excellent care.. Dr. Farmer is great with both patients and parents. She did more for my dog in one visit than what his vet did in 7 years. I wish she had day time hours, but am so grateful to have her in an emergency.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They took such good care of my Chihuahua that he totally forget he was a Chihuahua, where no snips happened which I was sure would of happened. But they took care of all my needs and concerns and all with a big smile on their faces and I left not only with a totally different dog but more knowledgeable about him. I would for sure recommend them to anyone needing help with a furry friend. I would give 10 ? if I could.

I have been going to this vet clinic for 3 years. Today was my last visi. Dr Kitz turned my do's care over to her newly hired vet. They took xrays of her abdomen for blood in her loose stool. She was there til midday. Finally I went to get her. No one explained her results. The charge was exorbitant as usual. The Business Manager called the next day with the result. She asked if I wanted the radiologist report also, which is extra. I was given meds for the loose stool. 3days later I get a call from the office if I would like to come for an explanation of the X-rays with the doctor. I went in she puts a new plan and the cost of further testing I have already paid 800. plus. Then I'm leaving and the reception girl asks for 88. more. I was livid. The radiolo report the spots on the X-rays may b noth or can be cancerous. I find this organ to be unprofessional, unorganized, and money hungry!!!

Based on our experiences at Woodlands Animal Hospital, we’ve decided to go to a different vet. I will say the front desk staff and vet techs were always very knowledgable and sweet, ready to answer any of our questions. They are the reason I gave 3 stars and not 1. I see a lot of good reviews are based on Dr. Kitz but we unfortunately never got to see her and only saw Dr. Radovic. My intention isn’t to bash a specific Vet, especially from a small business, however we feel that our concerns were brushed off and don’t want others to have the same experience. I am not a first-time dog owner so I have certain expectations from a vet experience. We feel that Dr. Radovic doesn’t seem like she likes animals and we often felt our appointments were rushed and not all of our questions were answered. We took our puppy in because he was coughing and had a runny nose. After barely looking at him, Dr. Radovic told us she couldn’t see any problems when he was very obviously coughing, lethargic and sneezing. She told us a few steps we could take and we asked her what she suggested. She said “I’ll have one of the techs bring you the price breakdowns”, again we asked what she suggested and she said we should decide based on prices. We are not vets, we don’t know what is best for our dog and would pay whatever we needed to get him better. Since she acted like there wasn’t any urgency, we decided to just go with generic antibiotics. Five days later, our dog was still very sick so we decided to take him to the urgent vet and they found that he had kennel cough. They charged just as much to see him and were very thorough in explaining everything to us. He needed a lot more than the generic antibiotics he was initially on. I wish I went to a different vet from the beginning but thought that she was just having an off day after our first visit. Again, I don’t want to bash any specific person but as a concerned dog mom I want others to be aware of the care they might receive.

Adopted a cat a couple years ago. Neutered very early on. Turns out his bones were weaker and slightly underdeveloped. He developed a slight limp overnight. I thought he just landed wrong. Well turns out this cat decided to cash in 1 of his 9 lives in my opinion. Woodlands took him in as quick as they could and fixed him up. The docs and the techs and staff all around are extremely friendly. One of the best in the Tampa area. Very thankful for their knowledge and quick thinking action on getting my best friend back on the mend. As of this review he is already walking and jumped up to his favorite chair. He hasn’t lost his personality. I highly recommend this place to get your pet seen. They treat every pet and customer that walks through their doors like family.

Needed to find a Dr who could fix my Boston Terrier's cherry eye. I had called a few around Tampa and St Pete and wasn't pleased with how they were answering my questions, appointments were over a month out and the charge for the initial consultation was over $300 plus the surgery expense to be disclosed after. However, when I called Woodlands Animal Hospital, they were more helpful and squeezed me into their schedule within a week to have the Dr take a look at her. From the moment I walked into Woodlands Animal Hospital, it was clear to me that I made the right choice. Everyone there was welcoming and caring to Coco. The Dr looked at Coco and clearly explained how the surgery would go. She was amazing. I could not have been more at ease that Coco would be in great hands the day of the surgery. After the surgery, Coco had 4 follow ups to make sure the eye was healing perfectly, and every visit, they were thrilled to see her. Their services went above and beyond what I had expected, and I would most definitely recommend Woodlands Animal Hospital to anyone who wants the very best care for their furry family members. They are all truly amazing.

I do not even know what to say. Dr. Kitz and her staff are amazing. She saw my pup Chase after he was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I was upset due to Chase’s treatment by another vet, but Dr. Kitz put me completely at ease. She is professional, explained diabetes in dogs in detail, sent me medical articles to read, is caring, and loves animals furry. The office is very responsive. You feel at home the moment you enter the office. The greatest of thanks to Dr. Kitz and her staff for being there for Chase!
