Excellent service. Thank you to the manager James for his kind attention and his help in finding the product we needed. This is the second time my husband and I have been there, and we love going there because the people there are really very kind. I would go there again without a doubt!

Bought some tarps from them for in-laws, who were out of the country during a hurricane and whose house was to be flooded. I was aware of the ripoff “no-return” policy for “hurricane items,” of course. It turned out that we never needed or used the tarps, so I figured that I could bring them in to try to talk them into making an exception, for store credit at least, but was prepared for failure. What I wasn’t prepared for was the condescension and incivility of the management. This store is somewhere I usually go as a smaller, more personal, and more local alternative to the big hardware stores, but if they’re going to act like this then I might as well go somewhere with just as poor customer service but better selection. I understand why they have a no-return policy for certain items which could plausibly be used and then returned, but having such a policy for a unopened item in brand-new condition is just taking advantage of customers in a natural disaster, plain and simple. “Caveat emptor” and all that (not sure that’s the best motto for “the place with the helpful hardware folks” but whatever), but you don’t have to belittle and even berate your customers about it.

Herb is the best! Seriously, he's a retired Boston Firefighter who's now providing amazing customer service at our local hardware store. I needed a birthday present for a member of my family, and Herb hooked me up with a special order that included assembly and delivery for no extra charge. It was a genuine pleasure to work with him. Ask for Herb! He's the helpful hardware man!

I just purchased a fabulous grill at this Vision Ace Hardware store in Oldsmar. Got great advice and guidance from Herb who is one of the store managers. He helped me select the right model for our needs, did not try to oversell and had it built and delivered within a few days. Thanks to Herb and the entire staff at Vision Ace Hardware in Oldsmar! You are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful no matter what your customers are looking for.

Wow ?This is the cleanest most helpful ACE hardware I’ve been to yet. I do a lot of projects on the road and stopping in here for the first time and meeting Parker, he helped me find everything that I needed and got me rung up quick and got me on the rewards program. So refreshing to go to a place where great service meets great products. Keep up the great work guys. ???

Beware of clearance/bargain shopping at this location! Some items are tagged with white, some are yellow, both are clearance, however some are marked at the discounted price others aren't. Sometimes its marked was price before markdown, other times white tag with a single price but it is priced already marked down. No chart of WAS and IS prices. Hand written signs with no indication of 'prices marked are clearance' or 'mark down taken at the register.' I can't imagine how many people bring stuff to the register and get charged the sticker thinking its 50% the sticker price with a sign saying 50% off and don't notice until they are already home. Even the cashier said he thought the same thing earlier when he was looking at the same items, but management hasn't corrected the confusion. Shady practices, I will be avoiding this store unless absolutely necessary.

Good service. Parking lot is a fiasco if you want to go eastbound on Tampa Road. Hint go around the back of the building and exit out there to avoid stoplight backup.

LD was the best manager in any type business that i have met in for quite some time. This gentleman understands the idea of how “to love the one you’re with”. I came in to look at the Big Green Eggs, before long i got the information i needed and was set to leave. LD came by and started a conversation with me, not a sales pitch. He was sincere and honest. After being here a little longer and seeing that this truly is a locally owned and operated American hardware store I grew a better appreciation. In the end I supported them by buying the grill. Can’t wait to have a steak, LD you’re invited!
