Great old school motel that has been completely remodeled, very modern and clean. Located on the Suwannee river with a dock for tying up your boat, great outdoor seating area with fire pits, outdoor furniture and string lights. Awesome for unwinding in the evening. Was there on business but will be back for a long weekend on the river with my boat and my friends!! Thanks Suwannee Gables and Staff, Yall were awesome!!
Rooms: Modern and all brand new.

You have a beautiful place, and right on the river! We have Motor homed in the area for a few years now and I never realized Suwannee Gables was right on the river, or the Light House so near it. I recently had occasion to visit the area by car and stay overnight at Suwannee Gables. It was a delightful experience! The Motel exhibits caring ownership in every way. Everything is clean and comfortable, updated as much as possible without destroying the essence of this historical beauty. Management was very personable and friendly. I look forward to another visit in January.
Noteworthy details: Right on the Suwannee River, with nice manicured river front.

It is very clear that the family is very passionate about their business. The scenery was beautiful and as pictured. The grounds were well maintained too. I traveled with my young daughters and felt very safe. The grounds were very well lit at night.
There is a fantastic dessert shop across the street and several quaint restaurants and cafes nearby. I loved being about to experience the greatness of small-town Florida.

The Motel Rescue!! Definitely rescued us with a Beautiful and Most Comfortable place to stay while recovering from 3 hurricanes! The scenery is an Absolute Must, Rooms are clean and cozy. I just can't say enough. Take a Watch on Motel Rescue, Season 2, Episode 1, Suwannee River Redo. ❣️

We were Hurricane Milton evacuees, and booked our rooms on line without any hassle.
The rooms both had 2 full sized beds, a closet, a nice Tv anda very nice bathroom.
The grounds are beautiful! Located eight on the river, they offer a lit area for events and seating. The river, right now is still very high, but it's beautiful.

Love this place. The owners are extremely nice. They have a great outdoor family space to relax and cookout at a view of the Suwanee River. And they have a beautiful pool. They have just remodeled everything. And, there is a convenient store and a very yummy dessert shop just across the street. U can't beat that!! ??
Food and drinks: There is an awesome dessert shop right across the street. 30 flavors of ice cream. Funnel cakes , deep fried oreos and easy more. Also huge corn dogs.
