As long as you accept that a grocery store with premium products and premium service will charge premium prices as well, you can't go wrong with Publix. Clean and great service in all departments. They carry your bags to your vehicle and load them if you need help. They actually offer the assistance!

My friend and I went shopping for some fun food items yesterday for a little birthday party we were having later that day. We went to the deli and got the usuals, potato salad, Mac salad and all that good stuff. We happened to see a container of something called Dessert Hummus from Boars Head. We had never heard of this and really couldn't understand what "dessert hummus" was and my friend said out loud to no one but me that if she couldn't try it she wasn't going to buy it. All of a sudden we hear "you want to try it? Let's open it up and try it"!
It was the manager who just so happened to be walking past us when he heard our conversation. He grabbed a container of what turned out to be a dessert chocolate spread/dip and then grabbed a bag of Stacy's cinnamon chips off the shelf for us to dip into and try it to see if we liked it,we did!
We ended up buying both the chocolate dip AND the chips because it really did go well together.
We told everyone later at our little party about the experience and how really nice the manager was, I've never had that happen to me in any store I've gone to before. It might seem like a small gesture what he did but he really wanted to give us an opportunity to taste test and make sure we'd like it before buying it and that's what makes a maneger not just good but great.

My husband and I went to Publix to order some subs at the deli I stayed in the car he went inside. He comes back to the car and says the people in the deli are rude and I asked what happened and he said a man and a white collared shirt Named Justin, which I’m assuming is a manager because he had a collared shirt on was standing there in front of the sub papers and there was another gentleman helping customers and that gentleman had said hello to the next customer and my husband thought he had said hello to him so he said hey man what’s up how you doing , but he wasn’t talking to him. He was talking to somebody else then Justin was standing there not doing anything so then he proceeded to ask him what he needed. No Hello how are you doing? None of that and then just handed him the subs no have a good day no nothing. I know Publix is real big on their Customer service and I will be calling corporate about this because we spend a lot of money there and I would appreciate people to be at least cordial and polite not rude and I mean put a smile on your face. The deli really needs to get together over there.

Every employee I had a conversation with at this location was friendly and accommodating, but this review is for Alex. I came here for my wedding cake and from start to finish, Alex made the process easy. Someone needs to offer him a regional management position - he delivered the cake, the communication and friendliness was impeccable, and the cake was PERFECT. This young man exemplifies the customer service Publix is known for. Thanks Alex.

Meat selection is good and fresh. Check dates from this store! Prices are high. They use apeel spray. Stick with frozen veggies here! Not much FL produce! Seems like sad employees .
