I am elderly widow whose Husband took care of car. I have taken my 2006 Trailblazer to HighTech 3 different times. HighTech is exceptional on their friendliness, helpfulness to an old woman who knows nothing about cars.I heard a noise that I thought was tie rods or wheel bearings.. they found my noise coming from bumper..fixed it. Thank you HighTech.

Our sons car broke down late on a weekend. We had it towed here after looking on line. They had it fixed by noon on Monday for a VERY reasonable price. Would highly recommend this shop. We were miles away and they were fast, honest and pleasant!

I can't speak for their automotive repair skills, because the situation I/my car is in, but I can sure talk about their abysmal communication skills.I call on a Wednesday, they say bring it first thing Monday morning.I bring it in at 8AM Monday, the receptionist says she'll call me when they have updates. Fair enough, they're busy. The mechanic hooks it up to a computer, realizes he cant read any codes because the batteries been unhooked and the car hasn't had the issue since. Fair enough. But no call.On Tuesday I give them plenty of time under the assumption they're still busy. I call them at 3PM, the receptionist says she hasn't had any updates on my car but she'll ask the mechanic and call me back in a few minutes. Close to 2 and a half hours later, still no call, so I call back and am immediately put on hold. I'm on hold until the shop closes, which isn't long since I didn't know that the shop was closing soon. But you think instead of asking someone to hold they would just say "the shop is closing soon, please call back tomorrow"It's now Wednesday, and I'm annoyed. I call back and the receptionist says she hasn't heard anything, apparently their customer communication skills aren't the only ones that need work, because for a shop with only a couple bays, you think they'd be able to talk to each other. I bring this all up to the receptionist, and she asks "what am I supposed to call you when I don't have any information?" and as someone who's worked customer service focused jobs, yes you absolutely should call someone back if you say you will, even if its to tell them there's been no updates. But her not calling me is a good thing, because it's annoyed me enough to complain and she says she'll have the mechanic call me, she also hangs up when I mention how unprofessional this all is, go figure. The mechanic calls and tells me that my car can be picked up, that he hooked it up and there are no codes to indicate the problem (as mentioned earlier). A 1 minute phone call, that would have been shorter if I didn't complain about this ordeal. Maybe the mechanic doesn't know the shops phone number to tell the receptionist I can pick up my car, because at that point being busy isn't an excuse, the mechanic or the receptionist should have communicated with each other.

These guys did a great job. I had an electrical gremlin, preventing my AC from working. They were able to track down the issue and have it going within a day of taking the truck into the shop. They are very busy so I would recommend making an appointment would definitely recommend them to everyone needing needing a good honest shop

Honest, fast, and reasonable!!!We had a rubbing noise coming from the back passenger side of our van.They got us in checked it out found it was a plate rubbing on the wheel assemble. They corrected the problem and only charged us $77.A non reputable repair shop might have made up a bogus issue and charge us an arm and a leg. Great group of mechanics.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Do not go here if you actually need your car and don't like being run around the bush. I dropped my car off at 8:30 am on a Thursday for a general maintenance check and some breaks just to not get it back till closing time the next day. Now, I would understand if I just dropped it off and there were other cars in front of mine but no, I made an appointment a week prior to the drop off date, so they knew exactly when my car would be dropped off.Secondly, good luck getting ahold of them. A total of 15 calls later throughout the day just to get an update on my car that was supposed to be done hours and hours before.Lastly, they overcharge worse then I've probably ever seen and the lady at the front desk has no idea what's going on 90% of the time. She's sweet and kind but not really built to do the job she's doing, at least from our experience.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I've been using Hi-Tec for 20 years. I'm over the road truck driver and I needed some place for my wife and my daughter to take the cars when I'm away. Ivor has always gone out of his way to take care of my wife and my daughters cars. And has never never done me wrong in the 20 years I've used him.

We took our truck to Hi-Tek Auto on the recommendation of a towing company. We had gone to one area mechanic who correctly diagnosed a key problem. We took the truck to the local Ford dealership to get a new key made. They decided we needed a new fuel pump instead and said they messed up when making the new key and had to order another. Soon after, the truck would not start and the dealership said we would need a new ignition. Tow driver recommended Hi-Tek because Ivor made brand specific keys. Turns out there was NO problem with the ignition and we probably never needed the fuel pump either. He made 2 new Ford keys and everything starts and runs perfectly. Ivor was 100% honest and 100% knowledgeable which saved us from having parts replaced unnecessarily.We will take our vehicles to him again even though there will be a wait.Katrina was great too. We got so much help from both of them.

Very rude impatient phone receptionist. Got frustrated and hung up on me because I was asking if I could get my routine full service check there and she didn't know what that was... Very odd. And very unprofessional.

I'm new around these parts lol, so when my car broke down, i panicked. One regular established business everyone likes to have is their car mechanic, & here I was didn't know anything about any of them. So i asked a neighbor, & she said Hi-Tek. She was right.Quick, professional, understanding, convenient... They were great. Now I say "quick"-- that's from the time of your appt, & yes call, bc you need an appt. The first time i called there was a 5 day wait-list, & actually I'm not complaining about that, bc it means that business is trusted. I waited a day or two, and then was able to get in the next day the next time i called.Highly recommended business. No wonder they often have a wait-list. I'm very grateful i had the right neighbor to recommend them. Neighbors are important in small towns.. Be a good one! ?

Thought it was going to be a good experience it wasn't took to long and wasn't impressed at all with service too busy making the big bucks on police cars no time for the average person car told my cars not worth fixing and showed me police car he was doing the same job on? It was good enough to be repaired
