“Are you looking for a casual and friendly place to hang out, meet new friends and get involved? This is Gunn Highway Memorial Post 147 located on Gunn Highway just South of Van Dyke Road. Service to Veterans is our main focus along with being active in the community. We are looking for our community Veterans to get involved along with our Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion. Bingo on Tuesdays midday and Bingo on Friday evenings. Also great fun at Karaoke the 2nd Saturday of each month. The Public is also invited. We now have The KCA Motor Club meeting here each 3rd Saturday from 9am-12pm. Stop by and see some amazing automobiles and enjoy the camaraderie. Better yet, drive your 2 or 4 wheeled vehicle.”

“We visited Old McMicky's Farm for a recent Easter event. We had a wonderful time there. The grounds are well kept and the restrooms were spacious and clean.

My granddaughter had a great time in the bounce house and egg hunt. Everything was very well organized. There were a variety of vendors, from food to family fun event planning and even face painting. We also enjoyed being able to wrap up our visit with taking a picture with the Easter bunny.

Thank you Old McMicky's for a great family fun day. And thank you Corbit, the donkey, and the resident turkey for entertaining my 4 year old granddaughter. She certainly has not stopped talking about you two. ?”
