Sadly, we had just moved to the area when our 17 yr old Shih Tzu took a turn for the worst. The staff and Vet in Lutz was so compassionate to help us. Everyone we spoke to was professional and kind!

My little terrier was likely bit by something outside and had a terrible allergic reaction with hives and vomiting. I called them about an hour before closing and they just said to bring him in. From the moment we stepped inside, a nurse came out to take my baby back for vitals. They took such good care of 4 year old pup. The doctor was so kind, calm, and thorough with her explanations. The nursing staff were also incredibly informative and so kind. Thank you for being there to take care of our sweet boy who is doing so much better 24 hours later. Axel sends paw hugs!

Carrie and the entire team were amazing to me and my little man Oscar (cat). I would recommend everybody to use their services. Such a great experience and amazing customer service.

They were absolutely a God sent. I was so scared and they took the time to reassure me that my baby was going to be just fine. They were very friendly and very efficient. Would definitely recommend this clinic for ER visits for your furry babies..

This is the 3rd time I’ve been to Urgent Vet in New Port Richey. They are so incredibly caring and sweet and very diligent with your concerns. Although it’s never fun to have to rush your baby to a vet, Urgent Vet in New Port Richey is definitely my go to any time my fur-baby needs immediate treatment.

Had to take my little baby pug there for an emergency visit. They were very thorough understanding and allowed everything to be cost-effective for my budget. They’re very concerned about our little fur babies. It’s rare these days.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! This place uses poor testing, does not have empathy for sick animals, and is in it for money! They told me my 4 month old Boston Terrier had Parvo and to go to a 24 hr hospital for care. Told me I had to go to Tampa or Clearwater that there was not any animal hospitals in Spring Hill or Brooksville...FALSE! My puppy was seen at a WONDERFUL hospital in Hernando county...NEGATIVE for Parvo and positive for Giardia. We were spent by an ACTUAL Vet and received proper care! Do not use these people!

Everybody was really cool. It was a very difficult and confusing time. Our cat was old and couldn't be fixed. They were nice in explaining everything and took gentle care of our cat. But we had to put him down. They made it as painless as possible for us and our cat. There's a nice room for it to happen in. It was time. They were perfect in handling everything as difficult as it was.
