Everything about this experience was top notch. From perusing the lot to select the trees to having the team install very efficiently and neatly and so respectfully to our property. I can’t recommend Dave and Forest and the team enough!

In August 2023, Laurel Oaks planted three young trees in our yard for $1,100. Now a year later, after Debby blew through our area one of the trees had leaned over. I phoned Laurel Oaks and spoke with Forrest about re-staking the tree. Forrest said that the price to do this would be $150, and said he would check his schedule and call me back that same afternoon (a week ago Wednesday) about setting a day and time to come out. When Forrest hadn't called back by Friday, I phoned again. He apologized for not calling, and again he promised to call me Saturday morning to make an appointment for the following Monday or Tuesday. It is now Friday of the following week, (nine days since I first requested service) and I still have not heard from Forrest. Meanwhile, I phoned the nursery again twice, leaving two messages asking Forrest or anyone available to call me. No return call. I would like to think this is just a rare compound goof, but rather it seems a very real indication of Laurel Oaks' poor customer service. Over the past year, I spoke with Laurel Oaks personnel (including owner Dave) on at least two occasions , and found them indifferent to my questions and concerns. This seems to be a situation where a business has become too big and self-important, adopting a "fine if you like us--fine if you don't" attitude. Thus, I give Laurel Oaks a more-than-fair and very generous two-star rating--only because of their large tree inventory. Bottom line: Buy from Laurel Oaks Nursery if you want, but don't expect them to be there for you after your purchase--even when you're willing to pay for additional service.

This place is a hidden Treasure. The property is a 25 acre tropical paradise. I pulled in to the entrance off Racetrack Road and followed the signs to the customer parking area. When I parked a nice lady showed up in a golf cart to show me around. This place has several buildings on it and everything looks well maintained.They have a huge selection of plants, trees and palms of various sizes. If you are looking for a wide selection of plants for your project you should check this place out.

We had to take down an Old Oak tree and by county regulations we had to plant another Shade tree, we visited This nursery and Carol helped us find a Beautiful Magnolia.
We also had them install a small area with river Rock and Red Candle plants. They definitely did an awesome ? Job.
Eric is also very knowledgeable and very passionate about plants ?
We definitely will buy if needed in the future.
Forest was very professional and went way and above . Thank you ?

Laurel Oaks nursery, and tree Farm is the best. Rafael and Serafin planted our royal Palm this morning, and did a fantastic job. When the truck pulled up, you could see that they had the palm well protected and upon speaking with them, I knew I was in good hands. Very knowledgeable and experienced gentleman, and I very much appreciated their patience answering my questions and passing along valuable tips for royal palm tree care. Laura Oaks installed our Fox Tails in the backyard three years ago as well as a double and triple Fox Tails in the front yard one year ago. All are doing fantastic. The following picture has Rafael and Serafin posing with their fine work.

Was super excited to get my tree from here. The older gentleman was very nice and helpful when I first bought the tree. When it was time for install they were helpful and explained everything. A day later I decided to make sure my sprinklers were still working as the gentleman who installed the tree mentioned he came close to a pipe before he realized it was there. Come to find out, he broke the pipe and just said nothing. I called to let him know it was broken and he immediately had a rude tone and sounded annoyed. He came to repair it and did not even let me know he was outside working on it. A little later he left and said nothing so I decided to test the sprinkler again and it was still broken. I called him and mentioned it was still not working and with a full on negative tone said "please tell me you did not turn on the sprinklers I wasn't done!" To which I said well you did not communicate anything with me so yes, I turned them on. He then sarcastically said there was a whole in the yard and couldn't understand why I turned it on. I again explained he didn't communicate anything to me so how am I to know. He then just hung up on me. My advice to the owner, hire someone with better customer service if you want repeat customers. I will never buy from here again or recommend here. The gentleman made it seem like it was my fault for HIS mistakes and poor communication. Guess I should have read everyone else's reviews before going here.

We called them out to come take a look at our property. Forrest came out and had great ideas for landscaping our home. He agreed not only to come up with a beautiful design, but to oversee our new irrigation and sod as well. He scheduled an appointment for us to go out to the nursery to discuss plants. We spent over an hour with him riding around the nursery and discussing his ideas and plants we liked and didn't like etc. Next, he sent us a detailed message laying out the details and dates that the crew members would be doing things on our property. The dates came and went with no correspondence at all. We've called, left multiple messages for Forrest, text, emailed, and my husband even went down there twice to see what was going on. We were told Forrest wasn't in and they would tell him we stopped by. Nothing. He has completely ghosted us. If they are too busy to take on a project as big as ours, just tell us. The unprofessionalism displayed by this company is unacceptable. Forrest wasted hours of our time and set us back 2 months on a project we wanted and needed finished as soon as possible. Would never recommend.

Fantastic selection of all kinds of plants - native and otherwise. Price range is varied depending on maturity, type and size of plants. Plan to spend a while there.Dave, the owner, greeted us and Eric gave us a hand with our selections.Definitely going back soon!

my wife visited this place and decided to purchase a small tree and plants for our front flowerbed. The tree was a weeping bottlebrush and the plants were lantanas. We paid for installation as well. The tree and plants were installed, after we had to call and remind them, and everything appeared fine. The bottle brush tree was beautiful but only supported by a small piece of cane. This the cane broke during some of the winds from the storms we had. Tree was fine, just needed to be restaked. Wife called, they came out and restaked tree using a more substantial stake. however the clothed they used to tie the tree was tied about a foot or more down from the top of the stake. The tree was pretty tall and with very thin trunk. Long story short, tree broke right about the cloth tie. We called again, they came out and replace the tree with one that is not nearly as nice as the one we had and then went on to suggest I had move the cloth lower and that is why it broke. I took pictures of the new tree and told them i was not happy with it. Some guy that said he was the owner came by the house and seems the only reason for his visit was to tell me i didn't know what i was talking about. Extremely rude and dismissive of our concerns. Also, of the 9 lantanas there are only 2 left alive. The 2 that are left look fine. When asked about that he said lantanas go dormant during the winter. I asked why the 2 remaining ones still look alive, the said "why do i have hair and you don't", he didn't know. If you are looking for a place with rude employees and owners, poor quantity installation, and questionable health of the plants, this is your place.
