Got sucked in while on vacation in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Luckily did my home work and cancelled out. I did everything I needed to do by the law, mailed everything certified. By Tennessee law they must refund my deposit within 30 days. Well they haven't!!. I was told my check was cut on December 2nd and should arrive anyday. Then I was told on December 8th my check was mailed that morning. As of December 14 I was told it could take 21 days to arrive after the check was mailed. 3 days people that's all it takes max for mail to come from Florida to North Carolina. Check wasn't mailed on the 2nd, nor the 8th and probably still hasn't been mailed. Your 30 days are up!! The people are liars, scammers, will do anything to get your money. Even when you do everything by the law they still get away with breaking the law

This is a fraudulent company, promoted by the Orange County's and State's politics. They are very well organized, as any MOB. You will fall for their suggestion that this is a good business but it is not. Is like the Hotel California; you can never leave. you will lost, not only, all the money you are "investing" in this huge fraud, you will keep loosing money for all the time you are in this fraud. there is no way you can rent "your week" all the companies mechanism works together, Airbnb will remove your add, you can not promote anywhere. this is a magnificent fraud.Este es el fraude mas grande de Florida, promovido por los politicos del Condado y del Estado. Es una organizacion mafiosa, con fines de lucro y abuso. le sugeriran que esto es una "oportunidad" y es una condena. NUNCA podra salir de sus vacacione a menos que pierda su "inversion". No podra rentarla, le pondran todos los obstaculos inimaginables. ni por Airbnb. Si vista Orlando evite a esta mafia.

WESTGATE IS THE BIGGEST SCAM THAT EXISTS. THEY ARE CROOKS:When I purchased this timeshare, they lied to me during the entire processI was told that I had to stay and could not leave when they were doing the sales pitchingI was told that there are Westgate resorts at Aruba, Virginia Beach, and Palm beach when actually there are no Westgate resorts at these locationsI was told that I could sell or resell my timeshare which is not trueI was told that this purchase was an investmentWhen I inquired about the interest rate, she told me that she would get to to that question later (but never did) while she rushed me through a pile of documents to sign and did not provide me enough time to read all of it. I noticed the interest rate after I received my documents in a black folder.I also inquired about how can I designate my daughter as a beneficiary and this question also was never answered while she told me she will get to it later but never did.I was never made aware during the sales pitching that I would have to pay maintenance fees. I did not find out nor were the maintenance annual fee requirement mentioned until after I almost completed the closing process.I was led to believe that I could travel with my Westgate membership every year but after reading the contract, it stated that I can apply my benefit every odd year.I pay $346 in monthly payments, a maintenance fee of $1096 and in addition to this, when I book a vacation I need to pay additional money as a deposit.I was also not informed that I would be required to pay additional fees and expenses when I wanted to book a vacation. I was given invalid bonus vouchers that were applicable to a period that had already past when they were given to me. Westgate and their representatives lied to me during the entire process.
