In Stark Lake it has been a disaster, since Hurricane Milton there is no internet, the most interesting thing is that they tell you that there is a problem in the area, they do not give a date or time; The other thing is that they charge you as if you had it.

“I signed up to connect my home to 100 Mbps internet for $29.99 per month. I told the lady to set me up with the cheapest plan for $29.99 with self-installation. She said everything was fine and that she had set me up with the cheapest plan. But the interesting part is that a few days later, I discovered that she had signed me up for the most expensive internet and a phone line I didn’t need. It’s been two months now, and I still haven’t received a refund. THANK YOU GOD, after a couple of weeks, I was barely able to switch to the $29.99 plan. Keep in mind, if you have the option to connect to FIOS by Verizon in your home, choose Verizon or Verizon 5G internet to avoid the headaches I’ve had with Spectrum.”

I came into the Ocoee Spectrum store at 7:30 p.m. to ask for assistance putting in my Sim card. I was switching from Boost to Spectrum phone service.
Ulises helped me.
He explained patiently and with kindness that I needed to get information from Boost before I could switch to Spectrum.
Even though the time of the store closing was drawing near, Ulises initiated the call to Boost and waited patiently while I was on hold with Boost for more than 20 minutes.
Minutes before the Spectrum store closed, Boost finally gave me the necessary information I needed to switch to Spectrum. With continued patience, Ulises entered the information and waited with me for Boost to finalize my closing of the account with them.
Closing time came.
Ulises continued waiting with me for Boost to finalize my closed account so the Spectrum Sim could be activated. He assured me multiple times he didn't mind waiting with me, though the store had been closed for some time.
Eventually, when it became clear Boost was not going to finalize their closing of my account with them that night, Ulises patiently removed my Spectrum Sim card and replaced it with my Boost Sim.
He again very patiently explained what might happen for the rest of the night if Boost terminated my account later.
Because I expressed trepidation about putting in the Spectrum Sim card by myself, if Boost terminated my account later in the evening, Ulises took the time to explain how to install the Sim; how it can't be installed incorrectly.
Then he told me what time he would be at work the next day and invited me to return if I would like his help.
I accepted Ulises's offer and returned.
He completed the switch, removing the Boost Sim and installing the Spectrum Sim. Then, to make sure I felt confident everything was in good working order, he stayed with me while I made a call, confirming the switch was completed.
I can't think of a kinder, more patient employee / customer interaction.
I hope Ulises is recognized for the value he brings to Spectrum.

My husband and I had to wait for an hour before getting assistance to return a bad modem and pick up a new one. The rep who assisted us, Vincent, had already helped five customers before us. It would have been more efficient if one rep focused on customers returning or dropping off equipment and the other rep helped customers with mobile phone assistance..

Spectrum Store Employee: “Oh we don’t do that here… you have to go to UPS…”
What is the point of your store then? I would chose literally any other cable service if I could. Thank you for wasting 30 minutes of my day today having to drive out to the nearest Spectrum store just to be told that.

Went into this location and was immediately told they only do exchanges and no returns can be done here. They were very rude about this and I even stated to them that the customer service representative said that the store is able to do a return here. The representative then told me it doesn’t matter what they say and the online people don’t know what they are talking about. She then proceeded to walk away from me just constantly saying they are wrong. This location has provide me with a very bad experience on more than one occasion.
