My rating is solely on the price per pound for their products and not on the quality of meat. The price is similar to what you will find at Wholefoods and Publix (Greenwise products). It will be good to have your prices online, I would not have traveled almost an hour if I can get similar products closer.

I have driven by this place a few times, and have always wanted to stop in. I knew I would be in the area, so I reached out on their website to inquire about some of their steaks. Georgia responded to me very quickly, and she kindly gave me the information I needed. I went into the shop and was immediately impressed on how clean and organized it was. They have a lot of selections besides just meat. I was immediately greeted as I approached the meat counter. Both gentlemen behind the counter were kind, and ultimately, Buddy was the employee who assisted me in my purchase. He was very helpful. I bought a porterhouse and a T-bone. My family was very happy with the quality of the steaks. We are looking forward to returning soon to try some more awesome food. I highly recommend Southern Steer to anyone looking to make a meat purchase. The food is definitely high quality, and the customer service is wonderful.

Georgia and the crew at SSB go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want and more. I’ve never experienced better customer service, and the absolute best quality meets I’ve had. Being from the Midwest I was used to great steaks and chops, and then I experienced the food in Florida. It’s been edible at best. SSB has the best prime meats and I am truly happy to have found them!

As someone from Chicago, I’ve been searching high and low for a good butcher, and Southern Steer Butcher is truly a diamond in the rough! From the moment I walked in, I knew I had found something special. The quality of their products is top-notch, but what really sets this place apart is the exceptional service.
Georgia, in particular, is a standout. She’s incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, always going above and beyond to ensure you leave with exactly what you need. She truly makes every visit a unique and enjoyable experience. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or just getting started, Georgia’s expertise and warm demeanor will make you feel right at home.
Southern Steer Butcher is now my go-to spot, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for quality meats and outstanding service, look no further!

Excellent butcher shop! The quality of the meat is consistently top-notch, and the selection is impressive. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help with any questions or special requests. They also carry Creekstone farm meats which are HALAL. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, high-quality meats

This is one of the only places I've been able to find steak tips and let me tell you, they're delicious! They also have amazing lemon pepper chicken. I've never had anything bad here.

Wow, there are nearly 250 reviews for this place, and just about everyone gives it 5 stars, myself included. There’s nothing illegitimate or mediocre about SS Butcher, that’s why. You don’t necessarily have to spend a ton of money either when you shop here (although you can). Personally, I’ll forever loathe to buy chicken or ground beef from anywhere else ever again. The marinades they use are transcendent, delicious and exquisite. For those who like to bbq, I cannot think of anywhere better to buy from!
