Took my puppy here early in the morning. She fell off the bed. They were so nice and caring. The vet Dr Martin was amazing. He checked her very thoroughly. He knew I was upset about her fall and he answered all my questions and helped and doubts or worries I was having. He was very knowledgeable. Great place and I would recommend for anyone who’s having an emergency after your normal vet hours. Super happy with how well they treated me and my pup! 10/10

Called to ask a simple question that's the standard across the board for veterinary procedures. The lady who answered was rude and didn't want to do her job nor give me an answer.

The staff here are empathetic, professional, and so supportive. I brought my cat here after having seizures. They took time to listen and communicated with me thoroughly. I highly recommend them if you have a pet emergency need. They will treat you and your pet with the utmost care and respect.

My dog was throwing up, having diarrhea, dehydrated, etc. we waited 5 hours and ended up having to take him home because they said it was a 10 hour wait. When we got him back he had to go to the bathroom so bad which could only mean he was not let out after explaining to them he was having diarrhea. After the 5th hour we asked if they had seen him yet and we were told no.

All staff are amazing! Rushed our pup in due to him being in distress and having trouble breathing. Dr. Carter was so compassionate and understanding she went above and beyond for our baby. Highly recommend this vet office. I want to THANK ALL THE staff members for all they did for us last night. Very blessed and thankful!! God bless you all!

Took in my 1 year old pup after being hit by a car night of super bowl 2024. They took her in and I didnt hear about her for 2 hours. Finally, doctor took us in a room, showed us nothing, just told us all these things that were wrong with her. I have taken 2 of my previous dogs there before and both times they had screwed us over. It was my only option at 10pm at night though. They told me she had fluids in her and a broken hip. Due to the times they screwed me over in the past, I took the chance of not believing them, and I took my pup home and prayed all night. After telling them im taking my pup home and im not paying them an extra 800 dollars to nurse her there overnight, they continued to tell me how my pup is gonna go home and suffer and die. Told me that word for word. Made me feel terrible about it. They also offered to go ahead and euthanize her for an additional 700 dollars. I said no thankyou im taking my dog home. Docter continues to basically throw my dog back into my arms, says not a single word, slams the door in my face as she walks out of the room. And that was described with no exaggeration. After taking her home and praying all night, she made it through the night. Very first thing next morning took her to a different emergency pet hospital. Ran scans on her again, unlike UF they sat down with us and showed us every x-ray and scan they took on her. Showed us there was 0 fluids in her and how her hip was just fine. She does have a minor fracture in a joint that connects to her hip but nothing like UF made it sound. Also unlike UF, they gave her antibiotics, pain killers, and anti-inflammatory medications, wrapped her leg where she had gashes, and treated her and us with much more care and respect then UF for less then half of what we payed UF. 1200$ to UF for them to lie and help my puppy in no way. Now, more then a week later, my puppy is improving great. She is doing very well, eating fine and drinking lots of water. Her blatter and butt are working great not any signs of something wrong. UF doesnt care about you and your pets, they only care about that dollar!! Never will I trust that place! Im sure im forgetting to mention something. (pictures linked are from today now more then a week after accident)

This place is absolutely terrible. I went there a year ago and they told me misinformation about my cat. I had a friend go there with her dog the other night and the receptionist was very disrespectful! Like have some sense and be professional. I would not recommend this place as they are unreliable and unprofessional!

Muskat is healthy! This places are run by incredible professionals with big hearts! We have arrived at midnight and Muskat was taken immediately! He is not all that friendly, but he was doing very well in their hands. They took care of my little angels as if it was their own. I was impressed with the doctor, who spent a good amount of time discussing with me the issues of my cat. In USA, I've learned that a patient sees a doctor to shake a hand, say hi, and given into the hands of nurses and a heavy bills comes after that. The doctor at UF Pet Emergency truly cared! I trust this place!..

It all happened so fast but without a doubt the staff and Dr. McCrae did what was best for the treatment of our beloved dog, whom we didn't expect to say goodbye too. Thank you for being so sensitive to the matter and overall extremely kind. Thank you

They were open and there for our pup when we needed them. They were friendly, professional and seemed quite competent.Yes, you pay a premium, but you don't have many options after typical vet office hours.

Definitely not for emergencies, and definitely not animal oriented people. Nobody updated me on my dog for almost 3 hours and the one receptionist has a god complex. Say one thing and they shut it down if it’s not what they want to hear. Asked for an update on my dog and got told the doctor will do it, like she didn’t have to go back there anyway and tell them I wanted to take him out of there. Got called disrespectful because I said I want my dog back since I’ve been waiting almost 3hours, and I’m sure he’ll be fine for another several at that point (also mind you he was extremely dehydrated getting him back, so I just know he was sitting in a kennel in the back getting passed by, I did veterinary work). I now wonder if I was discriminated against for being younger looking, cause there’s no reason a middle aged woman should have acted like that. If the receptionist didn’t care what I had to say she shouldn’t have said what and started it. That was me speaking facts about their poorly ran, and un-educated establishment and she got mad, continuing to egg me on. Expect a claim. What a joke and stupid confrontational for no reason. Really shows the education there. Talk to me like that off the clock lady with your ugly, juvenile, pink and blue eyeliner.

Maybe I'm being gracious with 2 stars, but they did at least attempt to help me when I was desperate.I brought my dog in for an emergency. What I didn't know at the time was that she was way more critical than what I was lead to believe.I will admit that they were kind and responsive when I walked in. I got a room very quickly. However, after the visit, my dog was prescribed a medication that later caused her severe GI issues. In addition, a very serious bacterial infection befell her that, if caught during my visit, would have most certainly helped me avoid the seriousness and time, money and worry I put into helping her recover.I wish that the doctors at this place would have been able to even suggest what her ailment was. They didn't. In fact, when I asked if she had an infection I was told no, and that the pills prescribed would help. They didn't. My dog almost died of sepsis just a few days later. Thank the good Lord above that I was able to get her to a different place that was able to make the correct diagnosis and immediately administer the appropriate care.My suggestion would be for this facility to educate their doctors more on signs of mastitis. I firmly believe that if they caught it when I brought her in, that she wouldn't have lost 2 very important mammary glands.

The kindness and compassion shown by everyone there Saturday night (12/9/2023) will not be forgotten. We rushed to them with a mortally injured feral cat we care for after he was hit by a car. They helped us make the best decision for him and could not have been more kind and caring. We are going to miss our Tim Tom (Timmy) and hope that we can find homes for the siblings so they don't suffer the same fate.

Brought my diabetic cat in after she went hyperglycemic. It was a horrible event and as soon as I brought her in they took her right back and was able to stabilize her quickly and save her life. I’m so grateful for their quick action and compassion. I’ve lived in Ocala all my life and having an 24/7 vet services is an amazing asset to the community. Thank you ?

From my phone call to get information to the loss of our Trinity the staff was exceptional very kind and compassionate to our situation. The vet was amazing and caring along with the rest of the staff that we came in contact with. The cost was right about what our regular vet is. I would recommend UF pet emergency. They made a very rough night a little easier…. Many thanks to the staff that was there last night.
