I have a 2019 Cadillac Escalade. I get my Escalade serviced at Sullivan Cadillac. I had Sullivan’s take the Escalade for a ride to check it. I asked Sullivan’s to not service it until they let me know what’s going on with it and the cost. They came back to me with the cost $1647.81. They showed me the work order everything but what I went in there for. So I went to Turner Transmission. They took it out for a test drive to check it. They told me what the problem was and fixed the problem. Rebecca the receptionist in which I would call her one of the guys, was very courteous and friendly. The owner and his team did an excellent job. They didn’t waste anytime. Thank you all so very much. The owner and his team was about their business. Excellence.

This is an absolutely wonderful family owned shop. If you want to find a group of mechanics that you trust and a wonderful group of office staff, this is your place to go.They priced their work fair and not only that but had a great turn around time. The nice lady that handles the scheduling and front desk (sorry I forgot your name) was very open in communication and called me several times to ask permission for a parts order or let me know they found additional things that needed repaired on my old 2010 Chrysler Town and Country before they ordered the parts and performed the repair. That is a trustworthy service right there.Highly recommend to anyone in town or any locals of the Ocala area.

Joey Turner and his team are top notch! I am in a transition period where my family and I are moving from the St. Louis area to Ocala due to a new job. I am in Florida on my own at this time while my wife and children are still in St. Louis trying to sell our house so they can come here and start our new lives. I am staying with a family member in Middleburg and commuting to work in Ocala every day, which is a long hull. When my truck started overheating as I was driving through Keystone Heights. the other garages in the area wouldn't even give me the time of day. Joey took me immediately and pushed aside other work to get me up and running again as soon as he could. The problem ended up being multiple things which they took care of without complaints. the total bill was much less than I could have expected to pay anywhere else. Joey and his team kept me informed often of everything they found and walked me through each step as they went. I couldn't ask for better service from anyone else. I will be taking all of my vehicle issues to Joey from now on.

Transmission rebuilt in 1995 Ford F250 Diesel Power stroke Ext Cab 4WD 7.3 L, then they found a few other leaks, replaced the Serpentine belt and water pump. Should last us the rest of our life. Very happy with the excellent care they gave us and the reasonable rates. It was tough for us to come up with the money, but we were able to and it was still better than the price of a new truck. The crew and staff are very trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

I can't say enough about this establishment. From the first phone call to the time we picked up our car it was a pleasure and there was no anxiety or hassle of any kind. The woman who answered the phone was extremely knowledgeable and informed us of the process when it comes to extended warranties. There was absolutely no surprises. Will recommend ?%.Service: Transmission

They had my car all day; asked me what's wrong with your car, found nothing, then charged me full price for wasting their time . Extremely perplexed! They are not worth the money! Don't waste your time .Service: Transmission

I took my car to this place because I suspected the transmission fluid was leaking & my car wasn't properly shifting gears. They supposedly checked the fluid & ran a diagnosic check. They said all codes was good, no issues with the transmission or the fluid. The same day I took my car to my mechanic he showed me the transmission dip stick & the fliud was dark brown, over filled & smelled burned. None of the technicians at Turners reported this issue to me after paying 125.00 for a diagnosic check. This is misleading, dishonesty, robbery & I am very disappointed! They customer service is terrible. If you are looking for honesty you will not find it here. Keep searching...

100% recommend. I went to three other shops before visiting Turner. Let’s just say the operations here looked so much better I took the chance with them and thankfully I made the right decision. I came in with a horrible transmission whine that I thought was a bad pump. Shop decided a full rebuild was in order and I was exited. We had some issues because of a cracked transmission case that threw the whole project off the rails but the honesty and quality of work really showed when they made the situation right and got me fixed up. Turner was not reluctant to just buy me a whole new unit even after the rebuild was complete. Wow what a rough life my truck has had. Waited until the 15 day warranty checkup to leave a review. So far so good feels like a new machine again. These are good people respect them and they will respect you.

Based off my experience thus far, I was referred to these folks. And after a lot of drama from other big names and dealers, these folks helped me tremendously! Rebecca and Skip and the rest of the family, got me back running. 12 month warranty and if it does anything wrong, bring it back right away. These are great people and I hope to keep a great relationship with Turner’s Transmission.

Where to start? Was moving back to Delaware end of December 22. Rebecca told me it would be a month when dropped truck off November but took them 3 which disrupted the entire move. Upon picking up they informed me they broke the transmission housing tighten up a cooler line because transmission housing was bad on rebuilt transmission? Than their tech took guts out and swapped into another housing which their mechanic broke that housing corner off on the last transmission pan bolt too... what are the odds? But yeah it's the housings not their tech.. They than found another trans housing they had "luckily laying around"(VERY unlucky for me)and swapped guts again and finally finished job. Oh still not done with these lovely people.. so they up charged me and had me pay for the hours of their tech who broke both housings installing a rebuilt transmission which doubled the original cost of job. After a successful 1000 mile trip back to Delaware in February (finally after driving home Dec, and catching plane back, getting and hotel and Ubering and paying friends for rides). Once in Delaware the truck was fine for about another 1000 miles when I noticed fluid spots under my truck only to find the pan gasket, plug, and some weird fitting on trans was Wet. Tightened up pan bolts which is all I could do and within a month truck wouldnt go i to drive unless I warmed it up for half hour or reved rpm's up to 2000 it would go into drive. So I call Rebecca who says it either has too much fluid or the pump inside is bad... drain fluid or has to come back out and apart to replace pump. Odd right? Especially seeing as it was initially fine. So than at about 5000 miles on transmission this august 2023 truck started shifting a little odd one day so I check fluid level and it was fine so I proceeded to drive truck when I was going down the road and I see smoke pouring from behind my truck... so I pull to a light to turn into a shopping center and as I pull off from light I can see a huge puddle which was probably well over 10 quarts of my transmission fluid which the other 8 quarts continued to pour out as I pulled into a spot where the truck would no longer go in any gear and it sat with me for 2 hours waiting for AAA and still sits in driveway... their 3rd transmission housing cracked completely all the way around in back where it connects to transfer case. Called Rebecca Seeing if they would take some sort of responsibility but her reply was " can't help you no warranty, something Must have happened for that to happen". Well you think so? So now I have over $2000 on a rebuilt transmission, their random cracked housing, another $500 in my triple disc converter, $200 in motorcraft fluid, their $2200 labor, expenses for their delay, and for that I got 5000 miles(most of which problematic) and about 5 months out of my transmission and a nice FU from these guys. There is many transmission shops in ocala and surrounding area because I looked but Rebecca seemed nice and I bought the Whole "family business" crap which all went out window when they were confronted with their work. Oh, did I mention upon picking up my truck and it sitting for 3 months they let me know my window had stopped working and left half way down while stored outside and I got to take drive home in February with it stuck that way. What a wonderful experience start to end with these guys.
