Dr Kevin is an Angel for all animals, especially ours. We are so very grateful to Dr Kevin and the wonderful staff at the office. Everyone is so kind, and so helpful to us at every level from finding discounts for us for food and meds they are the best and best priced in the market. The charitable work that Dr Kevin does at Interfaith Ministries in Ocala for all pets for lower income and indigent families is amazing. We took our senior doxie here to establish care. Everyone from front desk to tech and vet was very caring and respectful to both family and my fur baby. He has several health issues and they knew right away how to care for him. Thank you to SOAC for a positive experience.

Tuesday we brought in our shi tuz mix Poppy. She was 15 and in my heart I knew this was close to the end. The Doctor said there was a possibility we could give her time with IVs and pills. Total over 600.00. She died that night. Giving a grieving client the slight hope to hold on to a loved one and making money on a deceptions is cruel and a sham. The doctor had to know she was dying. She was limp and unresponsive after the iV. Yet he filled a bag with expensive medication and the bill got higher.

First visit. Very friendly receptionest. Vet was very helpful and answered questions about problem we had with our dog.

Teddy was sick and they fit me in at the last minute at the end of the day and even stayed an hour and a half late finishing up tests so I was able to go to the emergency vet to help him overnight. Then I got a call the next day following up to be sure Teddy was all good. I would've been a wreck without all their help. They were friendly to me and Teddy despite (I'm sure) being ready to head home. <3

ALL of the staff there are very friendly and professional. They all seem to really care. Dr. Sanchez was amazing. You can tell she REALLY loves animals. She worked with us financially, also. I recommend them to all animal lovers.

My little 6lb Chihuahua was having sizeures, scared me half to death. Dr Sanchez took care of her and put my mind at ease as she took care of my little one.

On June 28, 2023 we had Dr. Mercedes Sanchez put our beloved Bulldog down at Marion Animal Hospital, she worked there part time , we arrived at 10:20 am she met us and took Savannah into the back room, during that time, almost 11:00 we herd Savannah bark and growl, finally they came back into the room we were waiting in, making Savannah walk with the iv catheter in her leg, the other front leg had a blue bandage on it, apparently she tried a few times and couldn’t find a vain . She tried to put the medication in the left leg and Savannah jumped, my wife noticed lots of blood and clear fluid soaking the area , when they walked her the needle came out, when questioned about it Dr Sanchez said it was ok and tried to put the needle back in,, it didn’t work so she tried the back right leg after a few unsuccessful attempts she had a technician do it. The time was 12:15 , she than administered a sedative in her thigh too relax her. After that she gave her a dose of medication to finish the euthanasia. She said she gone, but wasn’t sure so gave her another dose,,, finally at 12:30 she removed all the bloody bandages and 2 Iv catheters, and left us to say our final goodbye, Dr Sanchez never said anything to us, at 12:40 i opened the door to the back room where she was and told her we were leaving .
We were there for 2.5 hours , Savannah suffered for all that time, this caused us so much heartache also. She was very un professional , I would recommend that no one would ever trust her for any treatment on your pet.

MY FIRST VISIT! My name is Lorraine . When I brought my 11 year old Yorkie she was in so much pain due to a tatar bacteria and very stressed. OMG! I'm so impressed with this clinic they are the best. Starting from the front desk so welcoming and compassionate, Vet Tech she was awesome, so sweet and caring the checkout person was also sweet. Dr Sanchez has this gift that as soon as she enters the room makes you feel welcomed and that everything is going to be ok. She answered and explained all my questions. Dr. Sanchez send me home with medications for my dog and she is feeling so much better!. My dog is going to need surgery for her teeth I couldn't do it right away. Honestly, I'm telling you I didn't feel pressured to do the surgery compared to other vets I've gone to and saw my dog as a dollar sign instead of a living creature and pressured me to do surgery by scaring me if I didn't do it that my dog could die for something that could be treated . Dr Sanchez explained to me the importance to do the surgery but I couldn't do it right away due to finances. They were very understanding and where able to create a plan that would allow me to get the surgery as soon as possible at my pace by paying in payments before the surgery instead of paying everything in one lump sum. In all my years I never had such a good experience and I'm 65 years old. Lol I have 6 animals and I will not take them to any other vet sorry Dr Sanchez but you are stuck with us. Thank you for everything you did! I assure you if you take your babies to her they will treat them like royalty and provide you with a lot of knowledge and compassion..
