I’ve been using Sherwin-Williams for years in various states. This was the first time I had a horrible experience. A lack of common sense was prevalent and the lady kept trying to sell me things I did not want and avoiding what I wanted. I will be looking for a new place to buy paint and stain.

Today, on September 20th at 10:25 am, I had the most uncomfortable experience with Sherwin Williams. I called to request a quote for some paints for a new project, and the person who answered, I believe her name was Celena, was extremely rude and unprofessional. She couldn't even tell me the names of the sheens they offer, and instead told me that I should visit the store or check online to find out she had a very bad attitude and was unwilling to cooperate with my request. Furthermore, she refused to take my phone number to look up the colors that my company regularly purchases. To make matters worse, she yelled at me over the phone. This is the first time I've had such a bad experience with Sherwin Williams. As a company, we frequently purchase paint from them. A good customer service is crucial for a company to grow. Being courteous and professional doesn't cost much and greatly benefits the company that has hired such individuals to sell their products. I know that Sherwin Williams is not a bad company, and we enjoy working with their products, but employees like these make it hard.

I appreciate the helpfulness of the employee! I had a lot of questions and he answered them all. I got a lot of paint ? for my whole house. I’m painting 1400 square feet in “white truffle” cashmere paint and doing trim the emerald trim paint “alabaster.” I’m sure I’ll be back to buy more.

6-21-22 5:50PM = Very friendly customer service. Brought in some ancient paint cans hoping to get matching paint for a small touch up from a roof leak. We had cans from 2005 with barley readable colors and codes on lids. Got told "maybe", and then a "YES"... Paint was mixed and we are so happy we got what we needed. TY

DREW is the rudest, most unprofessional person I have dealt with in years!!!! I called to order paint a couple of days ago and to ask which type would be best for my application. Courtney was very helpful and I told her I had 800 sq ft of walls to cover. She said Duration would be best for my application and 2 gallons would cover it. Later in the conversation, I re-questioned the coverage for my sq ft. and she confirmed 2 gallons was fine. Now, with the painter on his way, the Duration can says coverage of 250-300 sq ft!!! Courtney was not working today, so I unfortunately got Drew. I explained the problem. He stated she was just estimating and “they” always estimate low. I said how did he know what she was doing and why would anyone estimate nearly 40% off measured square footage??? The “estimating” is done on the can for coverage. That’s why the can says 250-300 sq ft coverage. And why would a store who SPECIALIZES in paint be so cavalier about inconveniencing their customers to come back for more paint…not to mention gas costs and nearly 2 hours of my driving time to return??? I asked if he had anyone coming my way to meet me with the additional paint to which Drew snickered and said no, not unless I have a professional account with them. THEN he said I have customers in the store I need to take care of so I need to go. Soooo, I guess I’m not a customer. Great problem solving and customer service skills, Drew…NOT!!! And you’re right Drew, I WILL NOT BE A CUSTOMER OF YOUR STORE!!!! Too bad because he has noooo idea of the volume of paint we buy! Glad to give my business to someone else!!!
