In all my years, Dr. Craft is the first veterinarian who truly impressed me with his compassion and knowledge. There aren’t a lot of vets out there who can match his kindness and skill. I will continue to trust him with the health and happiness of my feral cat emergencies as well as my own pets. I recommend Access Veterinary Care in Ocala to anyone looking for a great vet for their pets!

I am visiting my mom from out of town and brought my Shih-Tzu with me because he jumped off of the bed and injured himself. I took him to the ER vet where I live and was NOT happy with them. The ER vet wanted to do all kinds of bloodwork telling me that he appeared to may have ingested drugs. This is AFTER I told them 3 times that he was fine before but jumped off of the bed, yelped and wouldn’t stand. He just turned 13. I declined any further treatment from them and they didn’t offer any pain medication. (Just the ER visit was $115.00!)
I called Access Veterinary Care this morning asking if they had any available appointments for today. They were able to schedule an appointment today! My pup and I went in and the staff were very professional. I explained to Dr. Craft what had happened 3 days prior and he examined my pup extensively. Dr. Craft diagnosed him with a strained neck (from jumping off of the bed), prescribed muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory medications for him and further explained everything! Come to find out that he teaches at UF!
The office visit and medications were less than $100!
Even though it is 1 1/2 hours from where I live, I will definitely be back! I’ve been looking for a new vet and I think I have found them!
Thank you for taking such great care of my lil ole man! He’s finally sleeping peacefully next to me!

I can not say enough about how wonderful my first visit was at Access Veterinary Care! There are 2 dogs in our family. They both have anxiety about going to the vet. Our oldest, now 10 years old, generally paces and whines the entire time we are at the vet's. Our 7 year old has had to be medicated for anxiety before each vet visit. I am not exaggerating when I say that between the vet tech, Debbie, and Doctor Serena Craft, they spent no less than an hour with my dogs. They both got down on the floor with my dogs, pet them, gave them treats, and talked so kindly to them. My oldest is very stingy with kisses but repeatedly gave them to Debbie. Her entire life, my oldest has never taken food from a stranger. She trusted Debbie enough to take treats from her. She ended up falling asleep on the floor. Her younger brother loved all of the attention and tried to follow Debbie out of the room. Dr. Craft examined the dogs thoroughly, and was so caring.
The cost was lower than their previous vet. I thought it was reasonable that the medications we received were $2.50 less than I paid at the previous vet. Then I realized that I had been given 2 months worth of meds, not one. So, I had paid less than half of what I had paid at the previous veterinary office.
I highly recommend this veterinary clinic!

Dr. Craft Is the most wonderful and caring veterinarian I have ever worked with. He spent so much time and was so thorough with the exam and going over previous records. He is willing to take the time to explore options and really listen to what is going on and find a true solution not just follow a protocol. I cannot say enough about this practice and the care and compassion. Dr. Craft has for his patients. I would give him 100 stars if possible.

OMG! Where should I start? I've been to many vets and this Clinic is the best for caring for my pets. All the staff are so caring. Especially Debby. She listens & is very sensitive to your needs. Just love her. Dr. Albany is a super vet. She explains everything clearly. I enjoy visiting them. They were really understanding when my little Chi passed away. They were very comforting. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. The receptionist was a hag and the vet tech was also extremely rude. There was no compassion in this office whatsoever. The prices were higher than other vets that I checked also. Run to another clinic and don't give this place any business.

Was physically assaulted by one of the vet tech's. I wouldn't take my dog there if it was the last place on earth. Vet tech spit on me. Pushed me and grabbed my phone so I couldn't document the incident. I plan on getting an attorney. I am also contacting the veterinarian board

The rudest assistant vet in the world. Couldn't not believe her behavior! They are also very incompetent. Waited over two weeks for a referral for my dog's heart issue. They are just plain awful!
