I am a corgi breeder and have been to many different trainers in the past and found Georgia two years ago. She has been by far the best trainer for us. She has worked with our four children and several of our dogs in both obedience and agility classes. The kids feel very comfortable with her methods and now are showing in local CPE and AKC shows. I highly recommend Georgia to anyone looking for a knowledgeable dog trainer!

The best dog trainer in Ocala! How much can I say about Georgia? She is so patient and skilled with all dogs. You name it, she’s owned one in her lifetime. I came to her with a terrier puppy and after working with Georgia, I have to say this is honestly the best trained and most well behaved dog I’ve ever owned. We have gone from basic obedience to agility, and plan to keep going. What a rewarding and fun experience it has been to train under Georgia! I also did a few private sessions and really gained some great insights. She really helps you to understand your canine so you can have a great relationship together.

Georgia is a very experienced intuitive and knowledgeable trainer with over 30 years in the field locally and nationally! She continues to inspire with her obedience, agility and rally classes. !We have taken group as well as individual classes, and Georgia has even come to our home. She is compassionate and accommodating. Our dogs love going to see her at HDTC. It is fun spacious and well equipped. We are blessed.???????Dr Linda Satterlee Lee Juniper and Miss Belle

I have two dogs that have trained with Georgia. Sydney our first border collie had a lot of socialization issues and Georgia helped us work through those issues. My husband worked with Sydney in agility at Georgias for three years before moving onto another trainer with Georgia’s recommendation. When we got our second border collie Riley we started puppy class, CGC, Rally and now agility. I appreciate Georgia’s belief that not one style of training fits all. Sometimes you have to use both positive and negative reinforcement. Georgia also focuses on training the handlers to be the best we can be to ensure our dogs are getting the correct cues. I highly recommend Havenlea Dog Training.

We started going to Miss Georgia when our dog was just a puppy for basic obedience classes and have stayed on for over a year so far for agility. She is amazing and super kind. Explains concepts really well and always takes the extra time needed to work with the dogs/people. She's wonderful in a private class and group class setting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Havenlea is a great place for learning how to train your dogs here in Ocala. Georgia knows her stuff and the training lessons are always fun and provide a good atmosphere for all dog owners.

Georgia’s style is very laid back. She has 30+ years of experience. She’s got ideas for all situations. The classes are held outside. Only down side is when weather doesn’t permit holding class. On the upside, dogs get conditioned to real life noises like, cars, motorcycles, horses and dogs outside the class. They even get to view goats, peacocks and donkeys. It’s a lot of stimulus. They come home tired. Yay!Georgia has a whole agility set up. You can even train your dog to compete. Only thing missing is a swimming pool! ?.????????

I have brought 3 dogs to her, she is by far outstanding. My dogs get nothing but complements every single time even after all these years of how well behave they are and its only because of this place... worth every penny

Couldn't get her to call me back to set up an appointment to sign my dog up for a class. She has a 65.00 fee for obedience class posted on her website but when she finally called me back she wanted 175.00 for the class. Again, I tried to set up an appointment to meet with her and she told me to call her before I came out to her facility and again I could not get her to call me back. I did drive out to see her facility but she was not home. Her facility was rather rough and run down.
