I've only seen this in privately owned stores not with chain stores. I'm definitely going to use this store in the future.”
“Lan and his crew far exceeded our expectations and were very easy to work with during each step of our kitchen remodel. We absolutely love our new cabinets, Granite counter top and back splash. Lan came back and made few adjustments to our cabinets and answered all of our many questions each time we called him. His prices were also substantially less than than our other estimates. His quality of work and fair prices give him 5 stars in our book. We highly recommend !”

“To start off, I went back and forth on four or five stars. Home Hardware is very good. But I didn't find them to the point of five stars (yet). They may be worthy of five stars that I rarely only give out for only the outstanding in their field and price point. So at this point I will say they are better than four stars. So since they don't have 4.5 stars, I gave them four.Parking isn't bad, but it seems way farther to the door than one might think. But it's not bad. the store itself does have an outside garden center which I really didn't go in yet. But I like the idea that they have it.The store seemed fairly large. It is not huge, but large enough to feel like they will have most of what you might need. But still feel like a home town hardware store. I think that they have just the right size.In my case I went to other places first before visiting Home Hardware. The big box stores seem so disorganized, that I have trouble finding what I need. And I spent 45 minutes trying to get an employee to help me acquire an item I wanted to purchase. But after many calls over the intercom, no one came to help.Where as at Home Hardware had folks available immediately and through out my visit. The employee was very helpful and assisted me with a couple of items all the way out to my vehicle.I'm not sure about the prices yet, but from what I did notice, they looked competitive or better than the big box stores. Home Hardware seems more like a smaller business, even though they themselves are quite large in terms of locations. They just feel more like your local hardware store rather than a giant corporation like the big name competitors.”

“I went to the store with questions about non ethanol fuel. A lady was helping but wasn't as knowledgeable as Nathan. Nathan could have sold me something just to sell, but he didn't, and because he did that, I made other purchases, and he has gained my trust to come back to this location. He is a hard worker, and when he doesn't have customers, he's cleaning the aisles. He deserves a promotion. Thank you, Nathan. I would give you 10 stars. Great work ethic!”

CJ is very professional, friendly and helpful, and his personality is great. He is prompt and proud of his work, and wants to make sure everything is working properly prior to leaving, and states to give Jordan (at Manning in Ocala)a call if we have any issues. This young man is top notch!”

“This is the letter that I just sent to the Corporate Headquarters of Home Depot, and justifiably so; Dear Mr. Ted Decker President & Chief Executive Officer, 05/18/22 The reason for this letter is based on the most notable customer experience that we've had to date, and because it was so supremely over the top, we just had to take the time and give credit where credit is due. My husband and I are in our 70's so we've been around for quite a while, and because we value good customer service, we look for these attributes. We met Philip G, in the garden section yesterday, 05/19/22 at the Ocala Florida store as he was in the middle of something, but My husband Perry and I were so baffled about what we needed and I'm sure it showed on our faces so Philip made an abrupt stop and asked if he could help us. We were impressed with that first off because many times, we've seen associates just walk by as though we were invisible. Philip is kind, caring, supremely knowledgeable, perfectly professional, friendly, and embodies the most ethical core vales that we've seen in very, very long time. Phillip is not only a valuable employee to Home Depot, but he is a coveted team player to his peers. We know this by just watching and listening. If we didn't know any better we would have thought that Philip was a part owner of Home Depot because of his intense desire to not only help us, but to educate us giving us the complete package, and providing an extra value. It was like he had this ethical obligation to make sure that when we walked away, all questions were answered, and our money was well spent, and our project would be a Home Depot success! We shared that our lawn was in bad condition, and we need to know what to do. It was clear that we didn't know what we were doing because we were even in the wrong area. Philp conducted our very own workshop because he taught us what to use and what not to use and why. He explained everything in layman's terms, so that we could understand completely and also wanted to know if there was anything else that we were concerned about. Philip explained what to look for and how to treat it. This was major to us because we want to make sure that our spending is going to make a difference, and not just both wasted effort and wasted money. After all fertilizer has gone up substantially, and we are on a fixed budget. Philip also saved us money by teaching us the right way to get this project competed by using the right products, and without having to hire someone to do it for us. We are all living in a very different, and rather scary time in our Nations history, but to meet someone that calms your fears, and makes you feel like you are so valued, was not only refreshing, but we walked away thinking, we can't wait to return for another phenomenal experience and learning session from Philip. We feel so confident that we can do this project, and win accolades of our neighbors as well. Phillip is an extraordinary man with a gift of a caring and discerning heart, and if only he would be a trainer for new hires, what a wonderful world it would be. “A big thank you to Ms Aida with customer service. My husband and I came in at 7:50p (ten minutes before closing) Our home A/C went out, we purchased a portable A/C unit on Friday. It DID NOT work. We came to the Ocala store to exchange the unit. Ms Aida helped us with a smile and a happy heart. She even got someone to help us load the new unit into our vehicle. I can’t thank her enough. “I purchased weed killer , at Home Depot too. Everything being equal, SAME exact ingredients that were in both products did not warrant double the price at a Home Depot . I'm not trashing Home Depot.
Next time I will do my due diligence & compare products. Both stores have hard working employees that deserve appreciation .
