Dr Nelson is one the best doctors I personally have had the pleasure of being his patient and he's always taking good care of his patient's needs and making sure that his patients come first.

Everything went on time. Facility was clean. Nurse was pleasant and knowledgeable of her duties. M. Sherman was not in a hurry to get out of her duties and on to the next patient. She took her time to go over my blood work. She answered all my questions. Checked my vitals and I was on my way. She was very thorough.

I am taking this opportunity to commend and recommend this Health Care Facility highly. Dr. Nelson and nurse practitioner Mrs Sherman are very professional and very organized. Although the office can get very busy at times they do their very best to stick to your appointment time and expedite any delays.The staff provides excellent customer service , courteous customer service and always willing to help provide what's needed to help the patient. For that I truly appreciate. My husband and I are very happy to be patients of Dr Nelson and Mrs Sherman.This Health Care Office and it's employees are so very professional and knowledgeable about their job. We really like the attentiveness that Dr. Nelson gives us when we ask questions about our health. He shares his expertise and offers options that we feel comfortable doing. We see him every six months after blood work results are completed for the office visit.

I have Medicare as my primary insurance and Cigna as my secondary insurance. This clinic will not accept that. Cigna is a great company. It’s very frustrating as a consumer. The lady wouldn’t give a reason—guess that’s their right.

Dr Nelson addressed and started treatment for one of my issues. He is kind, answers your questions and gives you his time without feeling rushed. The one assistant (don’t know her name or status) was quite short with her assessment of the situation while the other aide wouldn’t listen to what I was telling her and just went ahead and did things the way she wanted it done. I had to redo the dressing when I got back to the car. In spite of the unnecessary Covid requirements, the office staff was nice and courteous. Dr. Nelson will treat or refer you as appropriate.

Dr. Nelson and his office staff are always friendly and helpful, albeit usually very busy. "Busy" means that people like them and keep coming back. The lady who takes blood samples is really good at it, by the way. Doesn't hurt a bit.However, it also means that once in a while a prescription renewal or some such doesn't get called in to the pharmacy immediately -- but that is easily fixed with a phone call.

I always enjoy my visits with Myra Sherman. She takes time to go over my care and explains results of my blood work. The check out lady is customer friendly. Myra's med asst is nice also.

I have been a patient @ Family Care of Ocala Specialist for over 10 years. My provider is Dr. Myra Sherman and she is by far AMAZING! She is knowledgeable, professional and very personable to your visit to her. Dr. Myra will educate and advise you. The entire office staff is so welcoming and treat everyone like family. I am blessed to be a patient at this office. It’s so nice to see how well the staff works together and there’s smiles everywhere.
