Wow!!!!! Finally found my person! Gary is the real MVP and I love that he has his lovely wife to help. Together they make the dream team!!! I went in on Saturday sat strait down and Gary went to work.. I showed him a picture of the hair color I've wanted for a long time and no other stylist has even come close :( When he took the product of and Dried my hair I was absolutely blown away, it's AMAZING Highly recommend great service by a true artist!!!!

I posted on Ocala's Word of mouth (FB) asking for hair stylist recommendations. I booked with the young lady that was highly recommended. Unfortunately, that didn't end well for me. She fried my hair, gave me the worst cut I've ever had and was completely unprofessional. Being relatively new to the area, I was at a loss. A patient of mine, who had fabulous hair, recommended I see Gary at Hartwell Salon. I scheduled a consultation with him so he could assess the damage and feel him out. I learned he started his career as a barber in the army. After the army, he attended one of the best cosmetology schools in Daytona, Florida. His knowledge and 25 plus years experience doing women's hair blew me away. I obviously made an appointment and so happy I did! He not only fixed my color and cut, he used a product that brought my dead hair back to life! Garys a true hair GOD!!! I found my forever stylist!!! I'm one happy lady!

Just to clarify, I had my hair immediately RECUT by Ulta and that is why I received compliments. Regardless, Gary did NOT do what I wanted. Thats the rub. It was cut too short and thinned out and will take 8 months to grow it back to where it was when I went in there. I never tried to get a "free" hair cut. That is a lie. I also heard from another woman who lives near me that she too received a bad haircut from Gary. Her hair has taken over a year to grow back. He thinned her shoulder length hair out so much, it too is not what SHE wanted. But he only seems to use thinning shears. So if thats not what you want, beware. She remembers as do, that he isn't formally trained as a stylist, but as a barber. I have the right to offer honest feedback. I wish I had read such a review before I went in.

I use Gary Mitchell and absolutely love his work! Been going to him for years. Very personable and authentic stylist. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my hair.

The owner Ron is my hair daddy!!! Life/ hair saver. Squeezed me in last minute and helped tamed my thick crazy hair!! He made me feel comfortable and at home within minutes of entering his beautiful shop! I felt as if I knew him my whole life and was my bff. Lol Anyway great coloring, great staff, great cut, and great quality; for a great price!!! Oh and did I say this was my 1st visit and I'm HOOKED!! Best salon I have ever been to.

Gary is a genius. I am a blah brunette/grey that is a platinum blonde. I moved here recently from Boca and have lived in DC and NYC. My hair has never and I really mean never looked this amazing. The color is incredible and the cut fabulous. I would stay in Ocala just to have Gary maintain my hair!!!

First visit today with the owner, Gary. Fabulous service and attention to customers - detail. Made me feel like a million dollars! Cut and color were fabulous as well. I am a new family member of Enve! Many thanks Gary, and to the rest of your staff who made my day a memory not to forget! If you get a chance, definitely book an appointment with Gary. He is superb at his craft and deserves a five star rating. I can't say enough good things about the visit and my treatment today. Amazing!

Gary is such an awesome artist with cut and color. If I was a new hair stylist I'd want to work with him and learn all he knows! He takes his work seriously and makes sure his customers are happy with the results. Possibly the best in and around Ocala!

Gary i/ Enve is the best! If you are looking for a hair stylist that listens to what you want or if you are not sure he can make suggestions, this is it! He stays informed on current trends and his hair coloring skills are spectacular! I am never disappointed!

I'm from Maryland, and recently visited my boyfriend in Ocala. My hair was so long, it was down to my butt! I had such bad anxiety about cutting my hair for years, due to a bad experience when I was younger. But I finally got over it and decided to make a change! Tiffany Oglesby did an AMAZING job giving me a cut and color! I think we chopped off close to 14 inches of hair!! I'm back in Maryland now, and will be donating to Wigs4Kids(: I LOVE my new hair!! My boyfriend is just as in love with it, too!(: Thank you so much, Tiffany!!
