We have been going to Town&Country for nine years now. There staff are very good at their job. They love your pets, and it shows when you come through the door, they really do care. Give them a visit with your pet.

ALL ABOUT MONEY NOT CARE! My dog has been with town and country for 6years now and until a month ago I've always spoke highly of the office until today..... I went in to get my dogs allergy shot and after sitting in the waiting room for 10 min the front desk lady in front of every other customer says "ma'am your dog has to get a rabies shot before she's able to get her allergy shot". I was completely embarrassed and when I tried to ask her if the rabies shot could be billed in front of everyone I'm about to cry she had no remorse she said "no sorry but she really doesn't need her allergy shot till the 21st so you can get it all then'' I was mortified every patient looking at me and watching me fall apart because this lady brought up my personal issues in front of everyone and after 6 years of being a patient looked at me like I was a stranger. I called the office manager this morning and I basically got the same excuse the front desk gave me like me, and my pet were nothing but a number. she apologized that no one told me when I called to schedule that this is their new policy but again wouldn't work with me and treated me like a piece of shit. the fact the allergy shot has a certain window doesn't mean that my pet could wait that long. If your pocketbook is endless and you're not a struggling person and you don't care if they treat you like a Bumb off the street this is the office for you because that's all the care at the front desk will give you. ALL ABOUT MONEY NOT CARE!

Yesterday leaving work I ended up getting a flat tire due to it being very worn out. Town & Country Animal Hospital was the only place I could pull over to so that I could get out the road very safely. My parents ended up coming after about 15 minutes. Besides all that I just wanted to say the ladies that worked there were very nice & many of them asked if I were okay before they left to go home. Even though I wasn't there for any service, they made me feel welcomed & safe. I wish I would have gotten the names of the people who were so warm, welcoming and generous. It's very nice to have a refresher that there are still kind people in the world.

Our dog was in an accident about a month ago and he seemed to be ok but we took him in just to check on him. He had a dislocation of his hip so we took him home and were saddened by what had happened. We called another Orthopedic vet and he said that our dog is going to be totally fine which is NOT what the vet at town and Country said. Later on he was having some major issues so we took him to an emergency small animal hospital. His organs were hit internally from accident which town and country missed and we ended up having to put him down. This could've all been avoided if town and country did the proper examinations. It was a roller coaster of emotions and we are wishing we went to another vet instead on that day. I am now going to another vet for my other dogs now.

I have been taking my 3 dogs to this animal hospital for 7 years. My experience has been great with them up until 2019. One of my fur babies started acting abnormal an lethargic and having skin issues. They pulled blood and did a urinalysis. I trusted the vets word that the results were normal and my dog just had allergies. Fast forward to 2020, my dog began to loose weight rapidly and become very lethargic. I again brought him back trusting the vets that work in The office and they pulled blood an did a urinalysis again. Once again, I was told the results were normal except for a little anemia. They did not recommend anything further and not further evaluation was needed. I wait 20 days and my dog has now lost 20lbs at this point and sleeps all day. I return again and I ask that they do an X-ray. I had to be the one to tell them to do an X-ray, it was never suggested in any prior appointments. The results were devastating . My dogs spleen was 3x the size it should be and they weren't sure why. I then insisted they perform an ultrasound to see if they could see any type of mass inside. As I suspected they were hesitant to perform this an told me they werent equipped to give a proper ultrasound diagnosis (even though it's advertised on their website). A large mass was identified in my poor baby's spleen. I asked now what the options were and was told he could go to UF Small animal for proper diagnosis or just let it be an eventually the tumor will rupture an he will bleed out but it will be a quick death I was told. I took my dog an went home extremely upset. The following day I scheduled an emergency consult with Magnolia Animal Hospital. I requested my dogs chart an X-ray images. Once receiving the chart I was furious to find out that since 2019 his blood work was not normal as I was told and It showed elevated levels of WBC and also he was extremely anemic and it stated on the bloodwork that his kidneys were not functioning properly and further diagnosis is needed. At the emergency consultation, the new vet states this should have been caught back in 2019 when the blood work was abnormal and also my dog should have been on some type of iron supplement for the time being until this could be figured out. Now that it has progressed for so long there are no options an my 6 yr old dog now has been given 2-4 months to live. Also, he would not survive the procedure needed to remove the tumor from the spleen as it's progressed for to long. So please go somewhere else and do your research before trusting just any vet with your fur babies!!!!! Sincerely, Heart broken owner *** just in case the hospital manager try's to respond with fabrications here as well: Town & Country Animal - you mean early as in the end of May in 2019 and he missed a "wellness" exam in 2020 when everything was shut down Bc of COVID and still it was also stated by your veterinarian that the Hookworm infection was not the cause of the anemia and it's funny you now use the term severe infection when I was told directly by your veterinarian that this was not the cause of the anemia and weight loss. I was also told by a technician an a veterinarian that the bloodwork was "normal" with his fecal coming back positive for hookworms (note that the word "severe"was never used at the time of being informed of this). These symptoms had been reported to your office since 2018. I was told several times his blood work was normal and the so called "severe" hookworms were not the cause of the weight loss and degree of anemia he had. I understand everyone makes mistakes but it's pretty disheartening that you attempt to fabricate this situation in your favor instead of owning up to the fact that your hospital drop the ball.

A group of highly talented vets, a caring and professional staff, a super clean facility, all combine to provide the best in pet care in the Ocala, FL area. This facility came highly recommended and its easy to see why. Although all the doctors are good, Dr. Neiser has been terrific with our cats. She is knowledgeable (as are they all), caring, professional, and works with our cats to put them at ease. The facility is spotless. We have been using T&C Animal Hospital for seven years (since we arrived in Ocala) and wouldn't even consider anywhere else for our furbabies.

They have lost me as a client! Horrible handling of my dog's life threatening emergency: I was traveling and had a farm sitter at my place here in Ocala. My Jack Rusell was attacked by a bird of prey and my farm sitter rushed him to T&C. She is French and her english is only semi fluent, plus she was distraught. The dog was bleeding and had a very large puncture wound. Pretty much the only question for her was "is she the owner/responsible party?" Upon hearing she is not, they turned her away. How about taking two seconds to scan for the chip YOU PEOPLE PUT IN??? Or asking "has he been there before, is he a regular customer?" No, just turned away. He underwent surgery at a different facility. He will recover, but not me as your client!

A year ago they saved our new puppy! She had to have surgery and is now on a special diet, but they gave us amazing care and education so that our baby is now happy and healthy! We could go to a vet closer, but feel that the care we receive there is well worth the drive!

Their pricing was off the charts... Way more for routine things than we previously paid. We supposed it was because they were smack in the middle of horse country. PS if you give them your email address and quit using them you will never be able to stop getting their emails despite countless unsubscribes.

I went in expecting to sedate my little dog, as I allowed her nails to grow far too long. The vet recommended that sedation was not necessary, and went on to explain the best course of action. I was very impressed with the level of technical explanation I was offered. All of this followed a very warm welcome by all of the staff I encountered. I left feeling very well taken care of, and the cost was only $90, when the original plan would have been at least $200.
